I'm Diamond and didn't hear about this?

and when did they stop $10 freeplay for getting 75tc from vp?

I don't know about the free play, someone in the thread just said they recently stopped it.

Here's the link to the tier credit bonus

wow that may be worth it to get 3000 tics in one session. I didn't get the email about that offer yet, hopefully it is player wide.

Follow the link, sign in, and "opt in". I kind of like that they didn't send a global email out, since opting in is a necessary step, a lot of people will miss out.

It is sort of weird that no email was sent out. I didn't get one, and neither did anyone else we talked with about it - including at least one 7 Star!

My thanks for this information being posted here!

There aren't cashiers in the cage during weekend afternoons anymore?

I overheard a player asking a dealer about Horseshoe being short cashiers and he replied that they're short on EVERYTHING.

Caesar's bankruptcy restructuring taking a turn for the worse?

More like Caesar's famously bad treatment of their employees coming back to bite them.

Sunday cage employee's relief called in sick, leaving the poker room cage empty for several hours.

But this happens again and again at the Shoe - it's not a problem with the employees it's a management problem.

Do they allow players to pre register for the wsop circuit events?

Thinking of playing event#1 on Friday evening & wondering if I will be able to get a seat if I get there after work.

Do they plan to get new dealers or make folks wait around as alternates once they fill up? Has anyone played the circuit events here before?

Thanks in advance.

Last time they had a WSOPC they did so in the conference center by a staff completely different than the regular staff...one that travels with the circuit and not associated with main room. No problems whatsoever signing up or reentering.

Yes you can pre-reg. Registration is open now. I too am worried about the crowds friday / saturday (and overall poor management) but i dont have the luxury of driving up before to pre-reg.

hm.. it's relatively easy to make 7stars JUST by playing poker full time.

10hrs = 500tc + 125 bonus tc = 625tc
150k/625 = 240days

if you play 5 days/week, you can make it in 48weeks.
that's gives you a 4 week cushion.

Don't forget the Spring bonus - from 4/1 through 6/30 the daily would be 50% higher for a total of 937.

thx.
90days x 937 = 84k tc (if u did 10hrs almost everyday during the promo)

150k - 84k = 66k
66k/625 = 106days more to reach 7star

hell, if you're a degen:
20hrs = 1k tc + 1k bonus = 2k tc
2k x 50% bonus = 3k tc/day
double the time gets you triple the TC.

AND you can make 7star by just the promo period alone by doing FIFTY 20hrs days

Isn't 7stars invite only? That you don't automatically get it once you hit the TC required? I would imagine they wouldn't invite someone who is poker-only.

there's someone who did make it by 99% poker.
and he was banned from the Horseshoe poker room for something like 4 months. (11/2015-3/2016?)

so he had to finish it in Atlantic City (Caesar's/harrahs).
the ban was lifted this month and he's back saying he's now a 7star.

edit-
This is why I think he was banned:

I was in the room (but not at the table) when he was thrown out.
he was arguing w/another player. they got LOUD.

supervisor stepped in and told them to stop.
the other guy shut up but this guy kept on yelling even after the supervisor's repeated requests.
no idea what they were arguing about.

Surprised it was more than a 1day ban (if this was the reason why was he banned).
he's normally a nice guy.

Correct. It's invite only.

Only formally true. My understanding is that anyone who gets 150k tier credits will be given 7 Stars unless there is some sort of huge irregularity, like the casino suspects them of cheating or they have unpaid debts to the casino.
