It's $5/TC slots and $10/TC VP at all CET properties, not just this one.

i think 2 hours of poker play will get you the 100tcs needed.

But even if it doesn't these are just previous gifts they are trying to unload from the warehouse, i already have all of these, haha.

exactly!
vp players are already playing more to get the same tc.
now horseshoe wants 150 tc for vp vs 100tc for slots for the exact same reward.

Horseshoe gives you 50tc an hour.

100 hours gets you platinum
300 hours gets you diamond

If you get 500tc a day you get a 125tc bonus. (10 hours)
If you get 1000tc in a day you get a 1000tc bonus. (20 hours)

Those dealers aren't very bright. If "higher ups" were making poker room management decisions you wouldn't need a poker room manager.

This new?
Or was the floor wrong on his ruling, and it should have been 30?

Promo chips pay 1:1, even on blackjack.

has anyone tried walking up to a blackjack table and trying to sell promo chips to the players? Does the floor yell at you for this or do people accept.

I figure its a win/win for both of us if I offer someone 300 chips for $200. they have $100 in free bets and I'm getting a 66% return.

If they use their $200 to place a bet and win they receive $400 back. If instead they use your $300 promo chips to place a bet and win they receive $300 back. A fair price would be ~.5:1 for each promo dollar(neutral for both parties). So if you have $300 promo chips you should try and sell it for $150, no one will be incentivized to buy them but at least you won't be ripping anyone off.

Promo chips on blackjack are actually more valuable than 50c/dollar. You should be surrendering often.

I can see that - but I can also see that higher ups might want to dictate what happens to promo money.

Regardless of who is making the final decisions, they're flat out stupid ones. Live had 36 tables running last night during the Super Bowl. Shoe? 6.

Anyone know what the bad beat fund is at? Its strange how there have been no promos for 2 months and I don't seem to recall the bad beat topping $150,000 ever to double all mini bad beat and major payouts. Do the minis hit so often that even with no promos they don't make enough to even have the fund jump up?

Fyi, you can no longer surrender promo chips on blackjack. Your best bet is to save them up, then bet red/black on roulette at the same time, but you will need a second person to place the opposing bet, as you're not allowed to bet both at the same time yourself.

But a bet on roulette has a higher house advantage than just about any other even money game. Wouldn't it be strictly better to do this by simultanously betting player and banker at baccarat?

Other way around. Horseshoe only allows banker bet. Live is the opposite - player only

I bet the bad beat fund is over 150k already but they plan on giving at least 200k of the bbj to tournys next month so there goes our bad beat fund!!! Anthony is pretty much forcing cash game players to play tournaments!!!! We should all protest going inside the poker room and just stand outside of the poker room holding up signs saying "Give cash game players back our money you theives"!!! Haha that would be hilarious... I wonder how long that would take until they surrender and give us back what's rightfully ours! !!!
