You'd probably look great and you'd likely get some catcalls if you head out to The Block after your session, but I doubt the casino would give you the extra $.

What's the word on the Wednesday pm bounty and the Thursday pm $100 buy in?

how are the PLO games here at the shoe? I am visiting my family in Baltimore this weekend and looking forward to playing the 2-2 game! Although I usually 1-2 5 bring in, so I doubt its much different. Can you run it twice in this game?

Do you like getting in hundreds of bbs as an 80% favorite basically at will?

And no running it twice.

They exist.

Did you have a more specific question?

TBF, this phenomenon is not exclusive to Omaha in this room.

Surprised that no one has posted on Horseshoe getting into the high hand game. From Anthony's twitter feed yesterday.

Anthony Chester @AnthonyChstr · May 21

Starting in June @HorseshoeBmore every Mon,Wed,Fri $500 high hands every 20 minutes 1pm-1am. Aces full to qualify

I'm pretty excited about Horseshoe starting to spend some bad beat dollars.

This is good and all but the real question is:

Will there be a father's day promo for quad kings???

A dealer earlier told me that the qualifying hands would be quads+, not aces full.

That would truly suck. I was just copying the tweet from Anthony's account. if it has to be quads or better, I am significantly less impressed.

well at md live, it's de facto quads or better. how often has a boat held up in their 'every 1/2hr' promos?
and since horseshoe has 1/2 the tables of md live...

edit:
hm.. if anthony's tweet said aces full and he didn't send another tweet correcting himself, then I would assume it's aces full to qualify

So there are four on 10-20 Omaha 8 list. Any chance this goes? If so I'd consider heading down.

Another dealer told me high hand starts with aces full. No rollovers.
Gow wheel quads had to be pair in hand. Guess same for high hand.

is the pink chip game all but dead? I've seen it run once in the last month and I rarely even see more than 2 or 3 people on the interest list

It's certainly on life support but horse at live seems to be sporadic also.

Live is trying to support the game but 50% of the player base can't play there.

Yea, Live is doing a lot actually. Even though half of the player base can't play, I'm still fairly surprised that the games don't run more often. $2 max rake is an awesome deal. I guess ppl don't really care as much about rake as they claim they do

I think the 2+2 crowd cares about rake. The more casual players probably don't, at least not to the point where they will start a game 3 handed.

Played last night during the new June High hand promo. With about 15-18 tables running most of the night, it looked more like a Saturday than a Monday. It was good to see.

Most high hand periods were won with Aces full. Several times there was no winner, a couple times quads trumped the A's full. All in all though, it made the games better.

A very good step in the right direction for the room with the promo.

what do you mean by fantastic?
more loose bad players at $1/3 between 1pm and 5pm?

There's actually usually a lot of loose/bad players but during the promo the room has been packed with many bad players. The promo is from 1pm to 1am on mon, wed, fri. Tonight the room was completely full and tons of bad players chasing a lot hoping to hit the high hand. 500$ every 20 mins brings people out of the woodwork.

Just a public service announcement. Although it is true that 100 dollar chips are not allowed at 1-3, 500 dollar chips ARE allowed to play. I asked the floor about and he said that the black chips looked too much like the green, but no one would mistake the purple 500 dollar chip for anything else.
