I'm sure it's true in general but I imagine that most of the people in that category are playing slots. I haven't really noticed any uptick in activity in the poker room around those dates.

They are having an invitaional freeroll for players with sufficient hours of cash game play.

Is there anyway to see the structures as well? Is the O8 PLO8 or FLO8? Why no PLO tournament? Kinda meh schedule but probably will play 1 or 2 of the prelim events.

I drove down there last night and got my first taste of live poker (yes, I was a live virgin). I played 1-3 NL because the 1-3 PLO wasn't running. All I can say is wow. The place looks fantastic and the level of play is horrible. There was only one other young guy at the table and the rest were older retired types. They were super nitty, but then played A9 like it was the nuts when they paired their A. I could only play about 25 minutes because I had my girl with me and she was getting bored. I played 3 pots, won 2, and was up about $40 in that short time. I will definitely go back soon when I don't have a time limit so I can take advantage of this situation.

Ill be down there thursday around 5 to 6pm till when ever, Hopefully they will have 1-3 PLO going.

I saw you their if it was late at night, between 9-12. Pretty much spot on, but dont take all of those retired guys for granted, few of them are sharp...

I cannot wait to get back into town to play with the retirees checking out the new boat. Never wanted to go to a riverboat this bad before. Can only hope the games are still sick a couple weeks from now

What levels of Omaha 8 have been getting spread there?

It's always 5/10 with a kill. They have lists for other levels but this is the only one that ever goes.

Played in the Sunday $15K. Busted 19th when KK < AQ all-in preflop.

Played $3-6 limit on Sunday night with a friend that was in town. We just donked it up while I needled the entire table.

I was back Tuesday night playing $1-3 NL. We had a crazy table. There was a young local (Bob) sitting to my left. We befriended each other and chatted throughout the night. He wound up up $699 IIRC.

The table was full of crazies. The guy in the ten seat was gambling like crazy. He had a black $100 chip that he lost to the three seat. He kept telling the guy that he would flip him for the chip, but then realized he couldn't afford to do it. Then they started flipping the button (one side said DEALER, the other KILL) for $20, then $10, then $10 again. The three seat won two of the three flips.

Seat 1 was an older black guy who never wanted to fold. Had AK and bet $100 into a $60 pot on the river of an 6KAKx board. He called with A7.

Then a SMOKING HOT Russian girl sat in the 9. Olga. OMG everyone in the room was in love with her. She was dynamite. She won a big pot against a local when he flopped trip 9s and she made a flush on the turn.

I was sitting in the 6 or 7 most of the night wearing khaki shorts, a blue polo shirt and a plaid Kangol baseball hat. Not sure if I ran into anyone from here. I may be heading back out later tonight (after 10PM) or tomorrow.

I didn't see a hot Russian on tuesday night, I did see an extremely large breasted chick who was ok, a little older though

We were at table 4 (I think). She showed up around midnight and stayed until around 4AM. You could not have missed her.

Looks like I am going to head there after the wife goes to bed tonight, around 10PM. I'll probably have my long, baggy khaki shorts and and plaid Kangol baseball hat on again. Maybe a Michigan hat. Someone shoot me a "sup bro" if you see me.

So what have we learned about AQ?

That it's the worst (most expensive) hand in hold'em and on top of that it's cursed, to be played only in shorthanded situations where you're playing the hand to win in a showdown unimproved? You sure as hell don't want to improve it and get action (unless we're talking rare monster flops). 7-8 off plays better in full game, imo.

How are they games during the day M-F? I don't know if I can handle too many more 9pm-4am shifts, messes up my sleep too much. Would rather just hit the afternoon games if they are any good.

Were you the other youngish guy at the end of the table? If so, I did actually look at you and wonder to myself if you were a 2p2er. I was sitting next to the retired cop at the other end of the table. I was the one that opened to $9 and made a few people LOL because they had to make change. Obviously this was because I was a live virgin and 3x BB sounded good at the time.

PLayed last night for a few hours, 1-3 NL and 5-10 Omaha hi low. OMaha hi low had to be the worst game out there! id rather get all my teeth pulled then play that game, ended up 600 on the night though, not so good.

What was so bad about it? You just dont like the game or the players? Have you seen any PLO being played?
