Monday & Wednesday through Feburary. It is my understanding they are good for any tourney but I sell mine because I suck at tourneys.

I have not gotten to make it up there lately. How has the cash games been? 1/3 is always good on the weekends but has the 2-5 dried up?

2/5 is still going strong on the weekends, there were 3 tables last night. It's becoming hit or miss during the week. I was down there Thursday night and it wasn't running at all. The 1-3-5 PLO game is going fairly regularly now which is hurting the 2/5 as many of the 2/5 regs now prefer the PLO game (myself included).

Woke at 12-ish to take off for casino... felt kind of meh... rolled over and slept more. Woke at 3:30 ish, left at 4, arrived at 6.

Navigated myself to downstairs cage. Got a rack of chips and a pocket full of blacks in reserve, sat at a 1/3 table and prepared for a long day of grinding.

Played for 17 hours. 30 pairs. 1 set. fml. Got all-in twice. Once drawing dead, once drawing extremely thin. $13 raise UTG, I call with 86s in BB. Flop J88. Opener bets out $30 or so, I toss in a black and declare "raise.. 100". Guy goes all-in, I throw in another black to call his $74 extra, he tables A8.

Horrible horrible night. In the first several hours I had a few stacks of redbirds that were profit, but after that it was all downhill. Ended up - $750 or so, - $15 for tokes - $18 for fuel - 4 hours of life driving. + $200 in vouchers.

I try to tell myself it's ok since just days before I booked a $1500 win at Live, but it still stings. First losing session in memory. At least 3 months or so since I've had a loser.

Anyone want to buy 2 vouchers?

That depends on how much you DON'T want them. Also, I know they are good for Mon/Wed only but do they expire?

The going rate is $85. Sometimes they sell for $90.

It's not that high. If you want to try to hit a BBJ. Which is very unlikely, go to Live 40 minutes away. It's around $360k at the moment.

It's www.google.com and type in Live Casino. N on 275, W on 74, Fairland exit in Shelbyville Indiana. Always some fishy 1/2 going, often 2/5 as well.

Yes, computerized tables.

That's rather a poor attitude.

You hoping something does not make it so. They are very successful.

I think it brings more people to play who have no idea what they are doing, which is good. First night I played on e-pokerpro tables I sat down with $50 at $1/$2 and left with $850.

So.... you win and think its a great thing, if you lost 850 your first night, I think your attitude would be different, No thanks Id rather stay at home and play computerized poker instead of driving 3 hours to play on a screen.

Hell yes it's a great thing.

I don't lose though. :-P

It's better than online because the competition is easier than online, and you can pick up on physical tells.

Where do you live that you are 3 hours from a casino?

somewhere in Ky, ok let me ask you this, a guy who went on a cruise saw Quads 7 times in one day while playing on the same tables, do you notice any trends, or get the feeling whats comming?

I've played many thousands of hands on them, seems random enough. I've heard people at the tables debate the randomness, and say things like it has to be rigged, IT HAS TO, etc. The people engaging in these discussions are almost always big donators, so I bite my tongue and don't participate in the debate. Logically, there is no reason for the game to not be fair.

I "feel" when idiots are about to hit their two outer on me, heh.

Yes I believe they are "fair" but it doesnt mean someone who is smart cant catch on. I cracked the code back in the day with Upper deck Baseball cards. I realized when you bought a new box, You take the top pack out of the box, and then you looked at the numbers on the back. lets say there is 5 cards per deck, 212, 135, 118, 284, and 98. Well if you opend the pack next to it, the numbers were 214, 133, 115, 286, and 100. Then the next pack was 216, 131, 112, 287 and 102. Basically you get the point. So when the store owner would open a new box to sell single packs, I was right there to buy the first pack, I could tell what was to come by doing the math and see if any exspensive cards were in that box. I was only 12 at the time. And I believe the computers were to cut the cards and "randomly" put them in packs, I hope your getting the point, I just wanted to brag I cracked the upper deck code lol

I've heard from a pretty reliable source that three pros have committed to the WPT in March: Gus Hansen, Mike Matasow & Phil Ivey.

Apparently Ivey would only come if they put a high stakes craps table right outside the poker room for him....

...seems like a no-brainer to me!

I'll finally be getting back out there in early March---does the 20/40 mix game still run on Mondays? Any limit over 3/6 at all, or should I just head to Louisville?

Hi TEKEE, how is the world treating you?

I rarely play NL so I could be wrong but I believe they play $1-3 NL at Hollywood Casino and buy ins are $100-300 and the pots are raked. The new boat is nice.

Hollywood Casino is your best shot for Limit Poker over $3-6 although it isn't a very good shot.

The Horseshoe Casino spreads $4-8 on the weekends primarily because they "Splash" the pot once an hour. The games start when the promotion begins and dies immediately when it is over.

The Horseshoe tries to get higher Limit games started but they usually are unsuccessful.
