Does anyone know if there is an email newsletter, or some place to sign up for emails about poker events, promotions, etc? I know they are on Twitter and Facebook, and I get postal mailings about the casino generally, but wondered why there was no email method of communication for poker events?

Or is it against OCCC?

Could be partly because Cincinnati currently has almost 200 entries in their tourney.

Cincinnati is offering a $250k guarantee and $60k in added prizes. Hollywood is offering an estimated prize pool based completely on arbitrary numbers. No surprise that this event isn't very popular, based on that alone.

I was looking at the numbers for the Columbus main event and wasn't sure why the numbers were so far below what I thought they would be. Now it makes sense.

Also, I must admit that I LOL'd IRL after reading this

How many people ended up registering for Day1A? Think it's even worth it to show up for 1B?

It's off Bravo app now, but maybe 38-42?

If you bink it, it's always worth it!

Do you think they took it off Bravo on purpose due to the low turnout?

They may have gotten down to two tables and decided not to extend play any longer. That's my theory.

Moneymaker got paid to show up...not really sure what that proves.

This place is actually a complete joke. I'm not sure if it's a Midwest thing or what, but this place has the absolute weirdest interpretation of rules.

River goes check/check, and the last bettor shows first, not out of position (whatever, but not standard)

If you have a $5 chip out, and the bet is 10, and you throw one green it's called a raise (LOL NOT STANDARD)

You can decide you don't want to play the must-move short handed, but can still stay at the top of list when others are willing to keep playing (lmao)

I'm not going to bother thinking of anymore, but I'm sure there have been other things I encountered. The most tilting part is how every time something bizarre comes up the floor will tell me how I am wrong, and their rule is the standard. I mean it's their house, and they can have any rule they want, but when they tell me how I am mistaken, and they know how games are ruled in every other state, when this is obviously their first floor gig, and they've probably never worked outside of Ohio, I just have to walk away and have a good laugh.

Also please figure out a different setup for the cage, or at the very least get cashiers that are comfortable counting. When players have to cash people in and out at the back of the line bc it's 20min deep, you're probably doing it wrong.

I'm not sure what the point of this post is, but thanks for listening.

Those two are absolutely terrible.

Is the 5/10PLO just a randomly started game or is it a group of regs just getting together to play?
