Played at Harrah's this week.
The Good:
They gave me a "free" hotel room for 4 days as opposed to Borg's 2.
The action was nice, the regs seemed quite a bit older and sucked quite a bit worse than the Borg regs.
15 food voucher every day in addition to comp dollars.
15 direct bet on 2 of the 4 days I was there.
The Bad:
32 and change in hotel fees, vs Borg's 20.
They wouldnt let me check in at noon, like Borg usually does.
When they finally did let me check in, the only room available was in the Harbor tower, unless I wanted to wait, which I didnt because I had chips on the table.
Harbor tower not as nice as the Borg rooms, especially if you bring a girl.
There was a really bad rule that stated I could not talk about a hand I was in with my opponents. I asked even though were heads up I still cant talk about it? Dealer was firm on this. After the hand I called the floor over to verify, which they did. No discussing of hands at Harrah's. About 20 mins later, and a new dealer, my opponent from that hand was talking about the hand he was in with another player. Of course someone spoke up and said you cant do that. Then that dealer said it was ok because they were heads up. Clearly the dealers all aren't playing by the same rules.
All things considered not a bad trip. I wouldn't recommend it unless your a 1/2 player as 2/5 only had one game while I was there and there was nothing higher. The food voucher and direct bet made up for the increase in fees, and the better action was nice. I'll go back if they keep the 4 free nights offers coming.
