Played at Harrah's this week.

The Good:

They gave me a "free" hotel room for 4 days as opposed to Borg's 2.
The action was nice, the regs seemed quite a bit older and sucked quite a bit worse than the Borg regs.
15 food voucher every day in addition to comp dollars.
15 direct bet on 2 of the 4 days I was there.

The Bad:

32 and change in hotel fees, vs Borg's 20.
They wouldnt let me check in at noon, like Borg usually does.
When they finally did let me check in, the only room available was in the Harbor tower, unless I wanted to wait, which I didnt because I had chips on the table.
Harbor tower not as nice as the Borg rooms, especially if you bring a girl.

There was a really bad rule that stated I could not talk about a hand I was in with my opponents. I asked even though were heads up I still cant talk about it? Dealer was firm on this. After the hand I called the floor over to verify, which they did. No discussing of hands at Harrah's. About 20 mins later, and a new dealer, my opponent from that hand was talking about the hand he was in with another player. Of course someone spoke up and said you cant do that. Then that dealer said it was ok because they were heads up. Clearly the dealers all aren't playing by the same rules.

All things considered not a bad trip. I wouldn't recommend it unless your a 1/2 player as 2/5 only had one game while I was there and there was nothing higher. The food voucher and direct bet made up for the increase in fees, and the better action was nice. I'll go back if they keep the 4 free nights offers coming.

No discussing the hand during the hand is a great rule. There's little worse than hearing inane chatter from someone who thinks he's/she's on TV while the other players' and dealer's time is being wasted. Hopefully Harrah's will be more consistent in enforcement though.

Harrah's seems to be rationing white chips now. When I play 2/4 I like to start with a rack of white chips (why use reds at all at 2/4?) but the last few times I've played there I've been told at the cage that the most they can give at one time is 40. And when I ask a dealer to change a few red chips for whites I'm often told they can't. Come on Harrah's. Don't be so cheap. Break down and buy some more white chips. No other poker room has ever told me I can't play with the chips I want to play with.

10-20 only lasted 45 mins today. 5 handed. Reg. Guy decides to start an argument with dealer, saying hes the worst, and doesnt know when to shutup. This went on for a good 10-15 mins without a hand being played. I racked up and game broke.

That game has always been filled with they same miserable pricks. Didn't matter where they went the Trop, Taj, Harrahs how many times. Miserable s.o.b.s always. Better off driving to Parx for their 6/12 OE imo

Went here again last night. Had a really bad night. Even for a limit game, never seen so many one and two outers caught against me in one session. Anyway, they're still rationing white chips. First time to the cage was told I could get only 40. Later I could get only 25. Seriously Harrah's, you're supposed to be a world-class operation. Spring for some new chips.

No. No CET property gives you either reward credits or tier credits for tournaments. The juice on your average daily in AC is $5-$10. The rest goes in the pool, so they wouldn't be able to on that.

555 hrs approx for the 15000 required points for diamond. 1-2 is 27 points per hour roughly

Thank you! Do you know hourly comp rate for 1-2? Can comp dollars be used for room fees?
