To whoever replaces the Ruler of the East (because I think he will be gone sooner than later), pay attention to the above list. There's more where that came from. Your customers know what they want. If they don't get it, they will go elsewhere....like they have been doing for the past 12 months.

I was here last night and noticed I can no longer order food after 9pm. Brilliant idea. You managed to get 3 people who pay rake to leave the table for 50 minutes to go eat downstairs at the Deli. Well done Isle! You guys sure cut costs there sending home the food runner you pay $3/hr to who works off tips.

5/10 is not even a constant regular game anymore. Increasing the buyin at this place isn't going to be advantageous to rec players that shortstack anyways and will be intimidated by multiple 2k+ stacks

When a business suffers a "contraction"....the first thing that usually happens is complete panic, followed by finger-pointing, blaming others, cost-cutting, more panic, then stating that this is the "new normal" (hmm, I remember a presidential economic advisor who said that)...anyways.

It will take a fresh face, some new ideas, a real strategy, and some patience for this casino to come back to what it used to be, apparently. It was (is) one of my favorites when I travel, usually in the winter times. I'll be there in March, and we'll see.

No matter where I've been, if the room has a great manager and staff, they read online reviews and comments, especially on 2+2. Keep talking.

While there are more than a few little things I'd like to see the Isle do differently, I am only going to list the BIG items that I hear player complain about every single day.

- limited menu to order food to the table from
- food service ending at 8/9pm
- generally bad and slow food and beverage service
- high hand promos that just don't draw players in - nobody is getting excited about same $400 every 30m when some competitor is always running some much higher payouts

If they bother even keeping the food runners at a limited capacity, what is the point of not allowing food to be ordered from Farradays or bragazzo? Don't want to keep tips from waiters there? Neither place is booming without it even though it's the only two good places with good food.

And for crying out loud Please do not make the games 10 handed again. Was told they tried making them 9 handed a few years ago and some old nits complained so they went back to 10. Please keep 9 handed!!!

Fwiw I believe uniden is the poster who is semi frequent here and works and more active than Stan. Would be nice if he could keep us abreast with some dialogue.

Starting next week (hopefully Monday) the hours of operations for B-Express and the food runners will be 11am – 10pm (Sunday – Thursday) and 11am – 11pm on (Friday and Saturday).

But still nothing from Farradays or bragazzo? Why?

My guess is because they own B-Express and want to try to force you to buy food from them...and I use the word "food" very loosely.

It just happened, the poker room director has been fired. I hate to see anything bad happen to people, but enough was enough. I hope and pray whoever replaces him listens to the dealers and players and makes the place better.

PS...I assume the "Ruler of the East" was the Poker Director. If he wasnt, I apologize. I was referring to the Director when I made these comments.

Yep. Several dealers have told me that they hope he gets the permanent job. I know hes a nice guy but I dont have any idea if he would improve the place because hes never been given an opportunity to show what he can do. Stan wouldnt let anyone do anything (from what Ive been told). Ive got high hopes though. Just about anyone would be an improvement.

Something a bit more minute that needs to change is when a game breaks and we draw for seats, when there are enough for everyone that we be able to choose our seat as long as it still fills the tables evenly. Sick of the floor telling us "you 2 go here, and you thrree go there". No... Players deserve their selection from that point just as much as getting a transfer while on a game. I don't want to be sent to a crap table and have to wait for a xfer when I could have had a chance at the table I want to begin with.

I think as long as you choose pretty quickly that's a reasonable request. Im sure from their point of view, people will take 10 mins walking around the room trying to choose a table if they drew the high card and the other players will get pissed waiting for the clown to choose.

Why dont you ask Vinnie next time you see him?

So they redesigned their website, removing the live game report (guess that costs too much right) still got the blog covering every stupid $60 mtt they run but they take away a feature that is quite handy especially when the damn bravo app never works half the time I open it. Wtf r they doing?

I have never even looked at website but I check bravo almost everyday and it works 99% of the time for me?

Same here. I dont even know what website the Isle has or what info is on it. I use Bravo all the time and Ive never had a problem with it at all.
