Hopefully the PLO8 and PLO alternating Saturday night MTTs are still running. I believe they have met the guaranty each time so far.

And if anyone knows, what is the difference between "IsleOne" points and "Pompano Park" points?

IsleOne Points and Pompano Park Points are one in the same. They are promotional points that can be used for free play or food.

Tier points are points that determine your Card level (Select, Gold, Platinum, etc.)

It should get better in the fall as the snowbird season picks up. But you're right, for a couple or three weeks or a month, it's been dead as dead can be.

Hopefully, we can get a 10/20 or 15/30 started up again in a few weeks.

Great PLO 8.

Extending high hand is a good start.

Need to raise the Omaha 8 stakes.The4-8 game as it now stands, is an

old age home. No action.

Need to start a 20-40 straight o8. Mixing with stud8 kills the game completely.

Then remember that when the 15-30 or 2040 runs and these guys want to mix in the stud 8. It will rinse and repeat and keep coming back to this unless that changes.

I've often considered making the two-hour drive south to play in the 20-40 OE game down there. What about mixing in Stud8 kills the game? Just nobody wants to play it, you don't like Stud8, or you don't like the players?

Just curious, as playing straight O8 is certainly better than okay at the 20-40 level. But there are so few places in FL to get a stud game it is pretty frustrating.

I think what he meant to say was that it kills the game for him because he doesn't like to play stud8. Once an OE game gets going, whether 10-20, 15-30 or 20-40, it generally has some good life for a few weeks.

Yeah a few weeks. That is what 3 games or 6 if it is 2x a week?

i enjoy stud8 also but it kills the game. The bring in is small and the pots are so small. The action is in Omaha and the action is what keeps players showing up and games good.

Stud8 is an action killer in that game. Yes u could raise the bring in. But just get rid of the whole game and watch how much more stable the game is.

I would prefer to play O8 only as well. I have limited experience playing stud 8 and I am pretty sure your typical O8 player from the Isle would be more comfortable not having to play a new game.

I think you would get more recreational players at 10/20 half kill than 20/40 as well. I don't know about you guys, but sitting at a table of 2+2 regs is not really my cup of tea.

Stan, would it be possible to do some kind of promo on a 10/20 Omaha8 game for October?

The bottom line is that you have to get people to play to even get the game started. For whatever reason, someone usually always gets a regular OE game going in the winter but a straight O/8 game doesn't happen other than 4/8. Been that way for three or four years.

I asked Steve to post a 6-12 or a 10-20 OB8 , he said he did not have the power to do so.

How can you get players if the game is not available?

They had a good turnout for the PLO8, now we have to wait over a month, for

another. If it comes back? Everything works against building a good Omaha game.

Stan is it possible for you to institute time rake in the 5/10NL game? Isle is now the only casino in South Florida that doesn't have time rake in 5/10+ games.
