Most complaints were about min cashes only getting like $160ish last time. Only realistic way to increase the min cash amount was to only pay 10% of each initial buyin each day and not same day reentries

Right before the 2nd card is dealt to the dead stack, the player on the btn takes the DS's 1st card into his own hand thinking it was his 2nd card effectively killing his own hand in the process. He had just won the last pot and was stacking chips and wasn't paying close attention. Dealer started saying misdeal, I said no, absolutely not. Floor ruled misdeal. B) guy limps w. 2 T500 chips at 3/600. Sb folds, bb, once again not paying attention, mucks. Dealer speaks up and says, it's just a call and gives woman her hand back. I don't say anything until hand is over and dealer calls Ralph over and they explain to me it's a house rule to protect the t
Not exactly sure what your beefs here are since the correct house ruling was made in both cases. The Isle's policy over incorrectly mucked hands is the hand may be returned if "easily recoverable and obviously distinguishable". This is pretty standard.

My beef is the 1st one isn't a misdeal and I don't agree with the 2nd house rule as I stated in the rest of the post. But I'm over it

Interesting way to do it. Just a question not a complaint.

I did like the pay out structure, especially money jumps with each table.

Now if we can just get closer to 12% of the field coming back for day 2...

Winner take all imo, then the min cash won't be small.

The payout per player not entry is also How they do it @ the Borgata.

I totally agree with a min of 12-15% of each day coming back!

Don't complain when the start times get pushed back to 11am... Can't have your cake and eat it too

Hahaha, like poker players would complain.

But rly, if starting at 11 is the only way to get less players coming back for day 2 I wouldn't complain.

However, I thought we were supposed to play to the end of level 14 and didn't only cause a mistake was made on the first flight. This woulda got us closer to 12% at least.

Pretty amazing y'all got 1766 entries. This is a great monthly tournament.

I hate 11 AM starts... Usually the problem too many players bust and it gets below 12% no one ever happy unless they take it down ..but wait my back hurts and I didn't get enough sleep!

Do you get more than $1.44/hr at $5/$10NL or higher? Is your card level a factor?

Yes there's a multiplier for your card level... I want to say platinum make around $4.50, I don't recall the "select" and "gold" tiers off the top of my head but they're probably in the $2.5-$3.5 range

When I signed up (in the main casino area) the lady was like "If you play 4 days in a week, then on the 4th day you get a three times as many points, even if you only played for a little bit on the first 3 days and a lot on the 4th day". I asked her if that was for poker too, and she said yes but she didn't seem real sure. Can you confirm/deny this?

Players clubs know nothing about poker. Seems to be a theme around the world.

When Mike listed the multipliers a year ago, I don't believe there was a select card. For gold it's $2.88/hr and Platinum is $4.32/hr.

This sounds inaccurate but I'm not certain

Yes Stu you are correct. In the new format(which most of it is much more user friendly), seeing the calendars is going to be a challenge. Currently all promotions and tournaments will be blended into to each date without a time or any information. I am trying to get that fixed. Anyone that wants a calendar or Isle Open PDF can send me a request at William.Smith@islecorp.com and I will get it sent to you ASAP.

Thanks

I checked out the website 23poker.info concerning the new 23 poker game you're trying to establish in the room. Btw, the website is embarrassingly awful and doesn't work on an iPhone. And even after watching the terrible video by the game creator, I'm still not sure how it works since some details are left out.

Is the No Limit and Pot Limit versions of this game played with blinds similar to hold'em or antes that everyone contributes each hand? Would be cool if it's antes.

Have you yet to run a NL version of this game? What stakes? I'd def be interested in trying it out and I'm guessing it'll be pretty juicy while everyone is still learning the game.

I'll pass on your thoughts on the website. We played 1-2 No Limit so far. We expect to see the game going this week. The game's creator will be here for demonstrations and we think the game may go as a limit game as well
