Congrats on the cash & thanks for posting the info! Sounds like pretty good structures to me... Between this & the upcoming "poker classic" at DE Park, we've got some good tourneys coming up! I just wish I could sneak away for more of them....

Might just have to take a half day and play that. No marketing though...be lucky if it gets 50 runners

Does this mean 15K chips + 5K add on.....or 20K + 5K for a total of 25K chips?

The latter: your buy-in gets you $20,000 chips, you can buy $5,000 more for a $5 add on, giving you $25,000 total chips.

Harrah's Chester does a very poor job of marketing their tournaments.... when WSOPC was there the turnouts were terrible. At least a Billboard on I-95 would work.

That is a fantastic structure for the PLO tourney.

My main concern is the quality of the dealers. Last time I played in this tourney, the dealer were terrible. I hope they are better this year.

I played the last "Philly Champ" PLO which was Sund July 31st

It had a decent turnout of like 140 runners. This one is a Monday so it'll draw far less.

Maybe I just got lucky but I didn't have much of a problem with the dealers. I had tables where the players weren't overbearing and helped (respectfully) with the pot. Should the dealers have a full grasp on the deal, the pot etc? Of course. But with some patience and helpful input, the table will be fine.

u gotta understand something, harrahs chester doesnt care about poker, and never will. they give everything to the state, and hardly make a profit. they dont have money to market the room or tournaments. the dude who runs the room was hired for crunching numbers, not for poker. he doesnt have any experience in running a poker room. im surprised he still has a job after that atrocity last summer.

Haha I guess you work there?

Nothing wrong with that though.

If you do, or if they read this...please take pics (or scan) of the structure sheets and post them on that blog or FB page (as you did the tourney list)

I'm referencing the upcoming Philly Poker Champ tourney.

Thanks

These structures are insanely good. Almost too good. If they had actually bothered to advertise, some of these tournaments could last a very long time. Since they didn't, they might finish at a reasonable time.

After everyone shakes off the Wing Bowl hangover....250 runners seems reasonable

That was a real nice & slow structure. I caught a bunch of hands back to back to back and chipped up massively for the chip lead with 36 left but couldn't hang on unfortunately, out in 12th for a min cash at 1:30am... So lame.... Anybody know if they came back for day 2 or chopped it up before the end of the night?

Chester should do $4 max rake Mondays(6am-6am), the room would be packed. Think about it. Maybe Wednesdays too.

this post didn't garner a response, and tho i'm sure there's info sprinkled throughout thread, i'm interested in current state of 2-5nl there. specifically, how many games can you find prime time midweek and weekend. are there even guaranteed to be games midweek? thx.
