was a lot softer than any online room i've played. people talk to much that's for sure. nagging about mucked hands. hospitality is nice. we only played 3 1/2 hours though.

Hello guys,
I was trying to find out how many hands per hour are dealt on PokerPro tables in another thread and a guy advised me to ask here.
I saw someone mentioning 45h per hour, is this good estimate or you have different experience?
Of course it depends on the line up but just give me some rough estimate.
Thank you

Yea, it looks like a great tournament. In addition to the normal cash prizes the winner gets a trip for 2 on the Carnival Poker Challenge in Dec. and entry into the tournament during the cruise with the winner getting $50k and a prize pool of $100k. Pretty sweet!

haha, I don't remember man. Might remember if you tell me how the hand played out but who knows, put in a lot of fruitless hours this weekend unfortunately. I'll try to keep a lookout for you next time.

Carnival Event: 200+25, capped at 120 players, Wednesday May 11th at 7pm. First gets a seat on one of those poker cruises with a seat in a guaranteed 100k tourney.

They also changed the format for the main event, lowering the buy-in to 200+35. The seat to the WSOP is now on the house (not coming out of the prize pool).

If you win the carnival tournament, are you only getting the 750$ entry fee to the main tournament, or are the costs for the cruise covered as well?

Wish I could; found out too late. Glad to see something other than Holdem. Hopefully the turn-out will be decent.

Was just talking to Jason and the Pokertek guy. Some good tournaments, but the Carnival Challenge you get all the prize pool and a cruise for 2 and entry into the tourney. Can't beat that except now the Main Event for $235 and the winner gets WSOP and $2k traveling money! I'm playing on Fri. and if I don't make the top 30 I'll play again on Sat. I'll see on Wed. too. A cruise and poker Yea!!!!

How easy is it to show up, play all day and get comped a room for the night with no reservation...I know they just built the new hotel so they probably have some regular vacancy...wonder if its not standard then will a tip get it done. Tx!

Super easy to show up and play...but you're not getting a room comped based on one day's play..especially not a weekend night. Harrah's Cherokee is nitty with the comps.
