Bravo shows a "5-5 six handed 1000 max" running -- what's the story on this? A 6 max cash table?? NL or PLO?

Nl. People trying to increase their odds of winning the seat giveaway. If the table is selected they have a one in six chance instead of one in nine. I just sat down at 4:50 trying to bink a seat. They actually picked the table but the guy next to me won with the six of clubs. Other cards were 5542. One guy was ineligible since he already had a seat. True story.

How often does 5-5 nl $1k cap get spread? Hoping to play a lot of this or 5-10 during wsopc. Also, is the cap on 5-10 still $1k? Thanks for any help

This was the first time I've actually seen the 5/5 6-max get off the ground. I don't see it becoming a regular game but who knows. There are a few regs looking to play something bigger than 2/5 but they usually struggle to get a full 5/10 table so maybe a 5/5 shorthanded table is the answer.

With the extra traffic from the circuit, I'd imagine they'll be a 5/10 NL running most if not all days while it's going on. The cap on 5/10 is 2k, as it's always been here.

*** Read this if you're planning on driving to the casino this Friday or Saturday night ***

The casino has an attached garage and there's normally ample parking, even on the weekends. This weekend, however, will be different. In addition to the extra traffic the WSOPC is sure to generate, there is a Weezer concert at the casino starting at 7:30 PM on Friday. Every single time there's been a concert on Friday or Saturday night the garage has reached capacity, at which point security will block off the entrances and direct people elsewhere. There are several nearby public lots and garages, however they charge (usually in the $5-10 range) and don't offer the security and direct access to the casino the casino garage does. They do keep valet open for diamond and 7-stars but the line for this gets very long and backs up down the street. If you'd like to park in the garage Friday night, I'd plan on getting there no later than 6 PM, probably 5 PM if you want to play it safe.

Saturday night there's no concert but the casino is having a promotion in which they're giving away two cars (at 8 PM I believe). This usually packs 'em in as well. It probably won't be as bad as Friday, but you're still taking a chance if you want a garage spot and get there after 6 or so.

After playing like garbage from 12 on tonight, I caught the ace of spades in the 5 a.m. drawing. Whoo!

Curious Tom what u think of if the big PLO game will be softer or harder during series? I think across the board games will be way better of course, but maybe not in specifically the biggest PLO game
