Yeah. I thought surely the Classic would be absorbed by the Circuit Event.

Are poker tournaments listed under Table games?

Tru dat. I played mostly tourneys up there and I beleive you only get comped 1 point per $20/$25 paid in the entry fees as far as I can tell. It's hard to keep track of as the points don't seem to get rewarded until after the tourney ends.

Does any reg on here keep track of comp points for tourney play and bring it to the tourney floor's attention if they don't get their comp points?

Anyone notice that they changed the Thursday night 6pm from a $180 buyin 15k gtd to a $160 10k gtd?

This bums me out. In assuming because now all their tournaments are re-entry's but I could be wrong....?

Not sure where to post this -- hopefully this is ok for a non-poker question.

I'm heading up to Foxwoods next Th-Sat with my Wife. Check out time Sat is 11:00 (though I assume I'll get it extended). Does anyone know whether they will let W use the pool after we give up the room (so that I can get in an afternoon session before we head home)?

Any FW-related question is fine

Yes you have access on both check-in and check-out days (and any in between obviously). I assume you're not staying at MGM, because if you are, there is no free pool access anywhere when the outdoor pool is closed.

So the next few months are going be interesting tournament wise.

Tho I feel the FPC is going not do good at all. It's up vs the Caesars AC WSOPC events.

The Feb Mega & WSOPC will be nice

Thanks -- Staying at Grand Pequot -- Best indoor pool at the complex and closest to the Poker Room. Win/Win. (Good to know that they wouldn't want me to leave early because my W had nothing to do!!)

i'm not a big fan of re-entry tourney's personally and so I'm not superpumped about the mega's being re-entries. oh well-everyone else is doing it so I guess they feel they need to "keep up" with every other room in the country

Wow not only are they using re-entries, but they are extending the late buyin/rebuy to level 6 instead of level 4 for all the events (except the main $1200 which is extended further to level 8).

I personally don't like them either but unfortunately this is the way poker seems to be going.

If I was a solid reg like Bobby Corcione or Tommy Hoglund and had the bankroll to fire 3 bullets, I'm sure I'd love it

Played in the 1/2 PLO game when it got going this afternoon. They stuck us way back under the arches with little lighting unfortunately, but it was a decent game in the beginning. Wish I could have stuck around longer than an hour or so but I had to get home.
The first hour a few of you guys on here (I'm not sure who is who IRL) were discussing the PLO bad beat odds conversation you were having on here, which was a nice way of letting me know it was a table full of the regs! Fortunately I had at least a pair on almost every hand and ran pretty good anyway.
I see the game is still going now according to Bravo which is amazing, hopefully they moved you guys by now though. I've noticed the last several times I have made it down in the last few weeks PLO has been taken off more and more!

Is there anywhere I can find a structure sheet for the main event? Are there any cheap motels nearby that people can recommend?
