You think 2/5 in unbeatable at FW? I have records since 7/08 that proves you wrong.

Games finally rebounded after a month or so of deadness. Tonight was quite action filled

That was a pretty big scorpion bowl. What did it top out at, 96 oz? I remember it was over the 80 o/u (I was hammered myself). But yes, that was sarcasm.

88keyz - Here's a good thread about bankrolls, winrates, and what not: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...nances-771192/

So a little more details I got about Fargo while playing with a bunch of them yesterday.

They sure love their mixed games. Horse games going all weekend, Tons of PLO.

Yesterday we had 4 plo games going at the same time. 2 plo/plo8 mixed one 1-2 plo with a list, and a full table 2-5 plo game, with huge stacks.

102 members of Fargo were there for the annual visit this weekend. They have other trips through the year under differ names. The one I remember was BARGE which is the Binnion autumn trip to Vegas, they are a few others.

Far from recreational players they have a few WSOP bracelets amoung them, including they tell me Greg Raymer and Andy Bloch, (who were members at one time, not at Foxwoods with this group this weekend)

From a PLO prosective I wish it was a monthly meeting. Very good action, very smart players, one needs to be on their game to compete.
I will miss my chips.

I also spoke to a few FARGO members. I was told that there were 3 trips per year, Foxwoods, Atlantic City (Casino TBD), and the Binnion in Vegas. They seemed really nice, and gave me the web address for all other FARGO related tournamants, http://www.fargopoker.com/. You can take a look for yourself, seemed like a very reasonably priced 4 day weekend.

I also saw Ashley Adams playing some 1/2. If any of you read the poker magazines in the poker room you might recognize him.

Today marks the beginning of the new qualifying period. You should now be at your new card level (if it changed, up or down). It will show online. They also now show how many points you have qualified toward maintaining your level for next period, how many you've earned today, and how many more you need today to reach the minimum for them to count.

And I will miss the FARGO people.... It's great to have them here (although many of them are really pretty good players).
I used to lurk and occasionally post on RGP, but left it years ago because it was completely unmoderated, and I got sick of wading through all of the spam, flames, porno ads, and offtopic BS. I have no idea what its status is nowadays, but some of the better posters there were really funny. RGP also gave me a lasting appreciation of a moderated forum environment, and some sympathy for the mods here.

Where are you seeing this? Can't seem to find it. I'm assuming its somewhere in the rewards section of my account.

On a side note, I don't have any room offers for October. Not even discounts. Kind of odd since I stayed, played, and gambled for 8 straight days in August, in addition to a couple other day trips. Did this happen to anyone else? Not the biggest deal since the poker rate for the tournament series isn't horrible.

Today, you have currently earned ## reward points.

You need to earn ## more reward points to qualify today's visit.
And I just noticed there's a link titled "Rewards Expiration" that'll show you how many points will expire on the 1st of the year.

I see that on the screen now. 800 points to go to maintain my crown.

I also got a letter in the mail to pick up a crown card. Since I already am a crown card, do I need to pick up another one, or am I all set? Have they changed or are they still the purple cards?

I'm pretty sure there's an expiration date on the cards. I would pick up your new one whenever it's convenient. But the old cards won't be deactivated or anything. Yes the cards look the same.

I don't have any new info quoted above when I sign in but I was a Wild. Maybe only upper-tiers get that info.

I emailed them Friday

While we don’t have anything on our website about it, here’s a quick rundown of the qualifying criteria for our new card levels. These points must be earned within the qualifying period (this qualifying period is running from 10/1/2011 to 9/30/2012; the next qualifying period will run from 10/1/2012 to 9/30/2013).

Wild – No Play Required

Crown – 800 points earned

King – 2,500 qualifying points earned (must earn a minimum of 10 points each day of play to qualify)

Ace- 5,000 qualifying points (must earn a minimum of 25 points each day of play to qualify)

Royal – 10,000 qualifying points (must earn a minimum of 100 points each day of play to qualify)

Yeah the minimum/day can be found online but the year totals can't. They are found in the pamphlets though and haven't changed.

That could be why, since there is no maintenance required for the Wild card.

Yep, I'm a wild too. That explains it. Would be nice to know my running points total for the year and how many more I need for the next level though.

Pequot for the poker room. The Pequot Hotel is pretty good and close to the room. I prefer staying at MGM though, it's nicer and I enjoy the walk to and from a session.

Poker is in Rainmaker. Ring games downstairs. Tournaments upstairs.

Cedar and Pequot are both good for poker stays. I prefer Pequot. Two Trees requires shuttle transport and MGM, though the nicest of the hotels, is a long walk to the poker room - especially if you like to get up at three in the morning and wander down to the room like I do.
