He gets banned for life from Mohegan sun for stealing tourney chips, then self destructs at Foxwoods and after many past warnings and penalties he threatens to kill a player when he is knocked out and now banned for life from there. He doesn't play cash and online's dried up so he's now only has a rare big tourney in AC or remote tourneys to feed himself. Since he lives in Ct really makes him the biggest doosch in poker if true. He screws his backers and lost them all, pisses through his money fast so he can't play the circuit. Kids a mess and word Is he has screwed every backer cause he's a drunk and addict. I remotely know the kid from Borgota but at a recent dinner at a deep stack we started talking about him and a few guys know him well and confirm all of this as well as does a few dealers I asked. Guess his dad is a mess too but recently won a big Foxwoods event. So here's the thing, it's hard for me to fathom someone so talented can be this messed up and have success? Can't use the guys name but he lives in Ct is 25 or so wears a Kangaroo kangol hat. Is this real? I have a $1000 bet riding on it, thanks.
He never actually stole the chips, it was back before Mohegan did color ups in the Friday $200 MTT. At the end of the tournament, the highest chip in play was $1k..When they did the count they we're missing 1 chip, he just blew up when they told him he couldn't play the next time he showed up so he flipped out...

How often do 10/20 games run on a friday night? I am thinking about heading down there tonight.

10/25 runs more often than 10/20 from what I have seen, unfortunately it has not been running the last few Friday nights at least from what I have seen

10/20 limit is a mainstay game if thats what you're referring to. See ooch's comment regarding NL.

how many 5/10NL games usually run? and on a friday night, how soft would they be?

I would say average 2 on a fri/sat night, the game can go from swingy and loose to more rockgardenesque like most higher limit games. Just have to find out for yourself I guess.

Anymore updates on weekly points?
I still don't have them for june or july on web site but did get the june monthly mailer that said I get 15 per week so brought card with me to fight them but they were in kiosk so no problem so far.
Have comps rooms every tue-wed for june that I booked early in may so hope points still show up rest of month.
Played tue and wed 10-20 limit and 5-10 Omaha/8 and had very good results both days except donked off $50 at 2-4 trying for jackpot.

I'm guessing rooms would also have to depend on where you live. someone 30 minutes away with the same play as someone 2 hours away won't get the same comps. they know the person 30 minutes away will likely come anyways, where as they need to entice the person 2 hours away.

just my guess. no basis for this.

I don't mean to be a jerk but this is wrong. I live 2.5 hours away and don't get **** besides a beach towel or a water filter if I'm lucky, I know multiple people who live within 30-45 minutes who get free rooms and more weekly points than me who are there way more often.

edit - just say your part about the same amount of play, that might be true but I still think that their comp system is extremely random

About 2-3 run, and they are always fairly soft.

when i was playing last night this lady sat at my table and she said when she went to sign in at a game this week she was upgraded to gold card, but she goes only a few times a year, then got comped a room for 2 nights at two trees. then played the next day and wanted to get a room, the guy said youre not going to be happy with the price but ill see what i can do. she was then comped rooms at grand pequot for the rest of the week. she said shes been there in free room for a week and has no idea how.

this is at a 1/2 table and she said she played a bit of everything over the week, but does not play high limit anything and had no large wins

A Marker, maybe? That seems odd, for sure. I can guess if you took out a marker for say $5 or $10k, even if you're not gambling much at the time, they know you have the potential to gamble and play more. Other than that...*shrug.* I live ~ 45-1 hour away, and what I get seems to vary greatly.

^that's really strange sounds like the computer spazzed or maybe someone hit the wrong button while signing her in. Either way must be nice to take foxwoods for a week of free rooms. Hopefully they don't catch on and charge her cause the room rates she would get by only playing a handfull of times a year would not be pretty...

yeah idk what happened. she was loving it though. she said she could only enjoy it to a certain extent cause she called out of work all week, and didnt want to get caught so she was always a bit nervous

call reservations re room offers. They'll tell you what you have for july. Though I didn't ask, I bet they would know the rest of your offers too.

Also lol at that little old lady story. Secret degen imo.

Lastly, The size of your "trips" (consecutive days of gaming) certainly plays a role in comps. Or at least it did.

Thinking about going for PLO. How does it go as far as blinds and amount of tables etc? Never played PLO live would appreciate any info.

Typically PLO, when it does run is 1/2 (have seen 2/5 go on occasion). Sometimes hi only sometimes hi/lo. It isn't running all the time but there usually is an interest list for it. Weekends are the best time for getting it off the ground for obvious reasons and when it does go, the game is sustainable.

EDIT: Never seen more than 1 PLO table going.

If the game has not started yet, be prepared to start shorthanded. Once the game of the future starts, it often fills out within an hour.

Last week during the megastack it went almost daily and well into the night.

Heading down today, so hopefully it will go this afternoon.

ya I feel the same way he was happy but you could tell it's not life changing money to him... the world isn't fair

edit - for the record he had the straight flush not the quad aces, he won the winning hand share

That is some unjust ****. It's obv his money for whatever, but hopefully he does something good with it since he doesn't need it.

Must have been a pretty big crowd around that table.

What was he playing 5-10 (I think they're eligible) or 1/2?
