Kwack, don't you want to know stack sizes before you suggest shoving in this spot? Sounds spewy to me.

I'm assuming there is fold equity as we want weak pairs to fold. It is spew and I don't recommend it but given the right situation it's better than a call.

Yeah. Given the 17% vs the Pot Odds it is pretty even. But we can't be sure that all 10s are clean outs. How do we feel about seeing the 10d hit the Turn? Plus, given the nitty old men, we could be chopping with Broadway, further weakening our value. I'm thinking that the tight fold is the play here.

Totally! I mentioned it at the table, should have spoken up. Night ended epic. Had the largest greyhounds I've ever seen, made friends with this couple at the bar, and the incredibly well endowed jazz singer sat in my lap to sing a couple songs (yes there are pics) much to the delight of all involved. Greyhound run good ftw!

2+2 Meet Up at Sunnybrook Poker Room in Sterling Heights on February 16th from 6 PM-2 AM. This is not an advertisement. This is an invitation to a close community for a private game. If random people wander into the party, we're not going to turn them away. Here is what's on tap:

- $4 Max Rake for a NLHE/PLO round by round game (can morph into a mixed game depending on player preferences).
- No tournament is scheduled for that day, but the owner said he would run any tournament we wanted, so make your suggestions now so maybe he can promote it a little bit.
- The $1 drafts will be on the house for cash players (read FREE)
- Free food for cash players
- Free cake from the Michigan Poker Monster
- Random splash pots with gift cards
- Lots of degen fun for all (there always is)

What do you do if you want to come? Show up. Would be very cool if you know you want to come (even if you end up not coming) if you post here or PM me that you're planning on it so I can give a heads up to the room about how many players will be there. I need to give them a count by Tuesday.

Feel free to invite your poker friends that don't read the thread (friends of the thread). That is all. Look forward to seeing you there.
Just got word from room owner that not only will he let us pick the tournament, we can dictate the structure too. Anyone interested in a tournament that day? Any ideas for the structure? Has to be over in 8 hours.

800/1600 to 1500/3000 seems like a huge jump.

17% is if you are seeing the river. It's 8.5% on hitting the 10 on the turn. Less if we shutdown on a 10d. You would need to be pretty deep with implied odds and have him stack off often on the turn to make up the difference.
