Quick TR from last night:
Played 1/2 at Cada's. Booked a small win, but should have been more at a ridiculously easy table. First hand I'm in I raise pf to $10 with AcJd in MP, get called by three people. Flop is monotone clubs, I bet $20, get called by two players who have position on me. Turn completes my nut flush, and I bet half pot, get two calls again. River doesn't pair the board, I bet half pot again and get two calls! Pocket 9's with 9c (two overs on the board!), and JsTc (over-called for almost all his chips).

I did my usual win early lose late. Had one 3bet the whole night, with AJdd and everyone folded. Very next hand I get AA, and I'm like yes! No one will believe this raise, I open for $10, everyone fold. Wat?

Hilarity later in the night too. 20something ex-dealer flirting with this guy across the table. He tries to shoot into the tip cup, she offers her chest as backboard. He tries to shoot a couple into her cleavage. Kind of awkward with her mom sitting next to her and he didn't know it. She played well and started to leave with about $400, he luck boxed into $600, and went to leave too, probably thinking he was gonna get lucky. Then girl decides to stay and makes dude stay too. Then he asks her out to Applebees some time, and she's like "can my boyfriend come too?" Oh, snap. That just happened.

Dude was very smooth though, and was like "No! That would be awkward, we're making out and your bf would be like, can you please stop that." It was some reality tv for sure.

Ended up winning a little more than my buy-in for heads up tourney tomorrow. Free-roll!

yeah i went. table 3, seat 1. was pretty much at the original 35k buyin the entire 2 hours i played. went out like this: 4 limpers, blinds are 1k2k. i'm in the bb w/ 32k. JJ. I go all in and sell it like i'm desperate for eveyone to fold. sold it too well it turns out. lady with 40k or so calls w/ KJ. Ace on the flop, turn queen, river 10, gg.

I didn't end up making it out. Might go for another one next weekend. Do you ever play there during the week?

On a bummer note, can't do the HU tournament today.

I have to visit my aunt in the hospital and then have an early dinner with my grandparents. After that, I am headed right to Hammond, hopefully getting there to rail Jose and his FT.
I am also playing the $240 on 2/27, hoping to emulate Joses success.
