I haven't stopped. I just dislike playing in charity rooms since it messes with my ability to game select, and I'm stuck at the mercy of hitting a good hand when the spew is out in full force. (Everyone's calling so your FE is low and you have to switch to playing more value hands.)
Went to the Heidelberg because I was hungry and didn't want to drive a half hour to play.

He called about 98% of bets on all streets for 2 hours, & ended almost every hand with 2 pair or better. I had KK vs him on the last hand of the night. I didn't stack him cuz he got in my head. I 4 bet to $200 pre, which he called. $100 on the flop & turn, both called. Then we checked the river like little bitches. I flipped up my kings on the river, and he calmly mucked. I still kick myself for that hand.
He stuck in $2000 and left felted. Didn't bat an eye at it. Betting most streets, or re-raising. Not a lot of calling from him. I've seen him shove with 4th pair and a gutter, or worse.

I had a few questions. First is there any worth while tournaments in detroit/windsor. Next, heidelberg? Worth a shot? Are there any omaha games regularly running? Do you guys go to windsor often? I used to enjoy the games more.... Favorite room to grind in Detroit.
Thanks for listening to my rant guys. Come say whatup when you see the gimpy guy crushing at motor city.
The Heidelberg has *really* good beer and decent to good food depending on what you're looking for. The poker game is hit or miss in my experience. Sometimes the tables are really juicy, and other times there's only one running and it's a tough nitfest, I hear the tournaments have been getting good turnouts, and that some of the new management wants to make changes to drive more traffic. There's no reason that the room shouldn't be *packed*. It's worth checking out and deciding for yourself though.
I can't think of any PLO games that run on a "regular" basis near Ann Arbor. I know some have run for a little while and then they burn out after a couple of weeks. PLO just plays too big for $1/2 players to endure for long.
I don't bother with Windsor often. The border is a hassle, sometimes a BIG hassle, it costs you $10 in tolls, a couple of % in exchange fees on your cash, and the game isn't anything super great. It's $1/3 with a $300 buy in cap, lots of canadian nit-regs, albeit extremely polite ones. Should go at least once anyway.
Would also recommend checking out MGM and GT a couple of times in addition to the always recommended MCC. MCC has the most games at any given time, and the most games $2/5 and above. But MGM runs a lot of $1/2, especially on the weekends. GT is a really poorly run room with little traffic. Each one has a very different feel.

Heidelberg. He showed up at about 12:30am. If I could GPS tag a player and follow him around it would be this guy.

Yup. Once saw him call with 63s in a 4 way all in preflop pot for $300. 63s vs AKo, AQs, and AJ ... 6 on the flop and it held up.
