There's a 5-40 spread OE going on? Any chance this goes tomorrow?

Anyone know if all three sattys ran yesterday (25 May)? Any ideas if all three will run today? I am a big fan of higher buy in tourneys and more sattys, I just hope that DP didn't overkill with 7 sattys. Planning to play in one today.

got the ezpass and now know how to skip the toll by getting off at rt 279 and getting back on after the md/de toll

I believe that at Delaware Park, a player must return with their entire stack to any like value table in the first hour they rack up and leave. Always call the floor if you see those hit and run tactics or even mention to a dealer who can enforce the rule at the same table.

How were all the satellites last night/yesterday. Again, I'm setting the over/under at 190 for the $750 deep stack 100 K today. If I'm right, the prize pool should be around $130,000. I'm also really interested in what the 4 PM $200 does today. If there is any overlay at all, I'll take that EV and play. I hope to be over at around 2 PM.

Registration is always open for the first three levels at every tournament at DP, which at 40 min's per, plus a ten minute break, closes it out at about 2:10. There are re-entry's for this one during that time frame.

I didn't use any sun block on the lake yesterday boating and playing volleyball on Lake Anna and pretty much look as sun burn as I feel.

Had some fun at DP today. Min cashed the 4 PM. Was stuck a lot for a 1/2 table in cash, but grinded it back and then some before the 4 PM started. Nice crowd. Bad beat hit at 2/5 tonight 56 suited vs 10 J suited on a 7 8 9. Straight flush over straight flush, but stopped the cash room for a while for the room split.

Nice to see metsandfinsfan who I played with at cash and then again at numerous tables in the tournament.

No overlay in the 4, but they did have one in the 7 PM.

One of those days where the cards are so bad, playing NLHE is much like watching paint dry. I finally gave to the poker gods and packed up my chips and left. They had about 160 for the noon 20K. I hung around because I thought the 4 PM was a 10K, but it was a 5K. When I left at about 5, there were still 17 left in the two day $750.

I have my move date to Dallas on July 13. Crap!!!!!

Does anyone know if Delaware Park cashes personal checks? And is there a fee?

How many people do they usually get for their monthly $30k, thats happening this Saturday? Are they still getting well over the guaranteed? I remember going a few months back and the prize pool almost being $50k.

I don't think there has ever been an overlay. It's almost always about 40K to 50K.

The $340 is always the first Saturday of the month. A good value is the morning 9 AM satty. The free seats have been reduced to five, but it's still an added of $1700 assuming you can play poker that long. That gets about 100 runners putting in one of six or so into the noon tournament.

The noon is 20K with 30 minute blinds. The satty is a turbo. All structures can be found @ http://www.delawarepark.com/poker_tournaments.php

I think I'll go up to DP tomorrow to play the 7 PM. It's the first event in the league format that they're calling the "Poker Challenge". What the heck, it might be fun. That all can be found on the June Flier.

But, Kevin, the Poker Challenge" flier at the web site does not bring up the point earned list, but rather brings up the $400 on 6/16.

Just to clear up a few things. If you go to the web site, click on "poker room promotions" you'll see the Poker Challenge" flier. You can't get it when you look at poker room fliers. They've got that one wrong.

I haven't heard much about player appreciation weekend. I was just going over it and I like it. It starts Friday with ten seats given away early for the $100 noon. So, I guess I need to play early that Friday. Also, the HORSE event at 4 PM. I'm going to pass on that as my entire stud game is just too weak. I probably won't play the Satty's on Friday, but 5 $400 added seats on Saturday will get me there at 9AM. That's a 2K added and always gets my attention.

I suspect the Saturday noon 40K will draw a decent field and I expect it to be about a 50K actual pay out when it's all said and done. The more I look at what they're doing that weekend, the better it looks. I also will definitely play the 08 on Sunday just because it's not often we get that tournament at DP....or anywhere for that matter. I notice that both the noon on Saturday and Sunday will have a $600 Ironman ticket. Lot's of good that does me since I'll be a resident of Texas by the time that comes around. But, it does say that the Ironman will run and if it gets anything like the field from last year, there will be an actual record this time and with a $600 buy in, I'd guess 50K at the top.

Thank you for the info sir. I played and we chopped it 10 handed by chip % when average stack was 12.5bb. I wish they would make some changes for more play towards the end of their tournaments. The 30k was supposed to be one of their bigger tournaments and it was shove/fold for most players at two tables before the money at 13.
