Looks like another night that is going to be packed with huge wait lists. Never expected this.

I've been there for three night sessions. Went at midnight Fri and Sat -- long lists. I was OK with it because i expected it and also was just happy that there is a well-run room 30 mins from my house and five minutes from my work.

Third time was last night. Went at midnight Fri and sat and def a madhouse in terms of crowds and waiting list. But they moved fast and wait time was half what people at desk who took my name said it would be.

Last night, weeknight, got there around 8 p.m. and wait was 20 minutes.

Going back tonight. All good so far. They're execution was not perfect but they're running a pro shop.

What did you think about level of play last night vs level of play Fri/Sat?

I found in 1-2 it wasn't necessarily good, but people were generally much tighter last night than on the weekends? Maybe just luck of the draw with the table I sat, but definitely a noticeable difference with weekday vs weekend.

The mixed game was indeed H.O.R.S.E. It started around 1:45 pm with 5 players. Just as I got up from my 3/6 game to join it, my cell phone went off & I had to leave. Moral: Don't bring your cell phone to the casino.

I've heard of a new private poker room that's opening in Middletown, DE called Middletown Sports Lounge. Apparently it's located near the UPS store on E Main St in Middletown, DE (DE 299). Signs said opening night is Friday July 2, 2010.

There is a real question if these charitable rooms can florish now that casino 24 hour rooms have opened. I hope they do as it can't help but increase the number of poker players.

But, there is a lot of money in these places. Little or no security at the rooms. Usually a time rake and not much of a diversity of games. Also, they are not structured, allow dealers to play and have to open and close at certain times. I don't know. The road is not so rosie for these guys.

Does anyone know how the Delaware Sprots Lounge has done this week. I know they closed last weekend.

I have to say, this is the best thing I've seen a room do before. In fact, I don't know of another one that does this. click on their web site and go to live games report.

Now, if only they get those tournaments started sooner than the end of July. At least start the morning one since there only seem to be a couple of games working early anyway.

Actually the Borgata tried a live game report on their website - it may even still be there, but they kept having problems with it having inaccurate info.

i played here from about 11:00am to 5:00 pm today, 1/2 & 3/6

i would say that it is a great place to grind it out as the play was very loose for the most part

room was quite busy from noon into the afternoon

make sure you bring plenty of money because your bankroll might take some big swings because of some of the crazy/loose play

overall, very good room and i think that certain rooms in A.C. are in deep trouble right now because it will only get worse in the Fall

i can see myself going down in the Fall on a weekend day to lay some football bets and to play some poker on a pretty regular basis

this place will definitely begin to reduce my play at Bally's where i was playing once to twice a month

Didn't realize I missed the HORSE action. I put my name on the list of interest when I got there at 8...but they weren't going to get it going because they were FULL. Every table had action.

13 1/2 NLs, 2 3/6, 4-5 2/5 NL, 1 5/5 NLH/PLO (400-1000 buyin), and a whole bunch of lists of interest.

I played some 3/6 at DP early Tues evening. Waited about 10-15 mins and got on a new table. I was the only person who actually got up and got my own chips from the cage. Good thing I did, because the runners, for whatever reason, gave the players all yellow $2 chips. The yellows really slowed things up because people kept playing them like whites and throwing out too many then pulling them back when the dealer asked if they were raising. I started out at a stupid LAG table, with 2 guys raises and re-raising every pot with crap. The one guy kept splashing the pot even though the dealer kept telling him to keep the chips in front of him. I don't think the guy was being a dick, he was either dumb, stoned, or both. The LAGness was really slowing the action; it seemed like we were playing 8 hands an hour. I moved one table over and it was a different story; loose-passive, easy reads, good pot odds.

One pot of note, 4way capped out action PF, one player all in, and I had AA. 3 of us ran it to the end with raises on a Q high board and my aces held up. One guy had KK, all-in had QJ, and the other didn't show (I put him on AQ since he called to the end). Pot had close to $150 in it. I can't remember the last time I took AA the the river in a multi-way pot and won without improving in a low-level LHE game. There was a 6/12 LHE table going when I was there, I wasn't planning to stay long so I didn't have a chance to check it out. I'm hoping the HORSE games come off and run late during the week, so I can jump in when I get done work at night. I hope the room can sustain this momentum for awhile, it's almost like the golden days of AC poker back in the early to mid 2000s.

only the Borgata & Taj probably have a busier poker room right now in A.C.

i was talking to quite a few players at the tables yesterday who just like me went to this Racino instead of A.C.

So this place is about 30 minutes from my folks house back home. Worth popping in to play some cards next time I visit? Money to be made on a Friday/Saturday night?

I played the H.O.R.S.E. game today. it was a full table the whole time. It finally got short handed around 5 pm, when 2 people, plus myself, had to leave. It was a great game. Good players. Very pleasant. The dealers were exceptional, considering that no one was very familiar with horse. One dealer, Dottie, looked like she was dealing this game for years. We asked her & she said that she was new & just learned it in school. Cudo's to the dealers. To answer the question about the $2 chips. They ran out of white chips, Tues night & the shipment didn't come in yet. They had to color up with yellow chips. Hope this is very temporary.

ooooo, 10/20!

Also, I know many of you guys live near the casino, but if there are those who want to stay at a hotel near, I found at the top of the delaware park website is a link to hotels. The top one is the Hilton Christiana which is just up the street. The casino rate seems to be a good discount for this 4 star hotel. For example, the price for saturday night this weekend is $99. I think the regular price is $130. Not too bad.

I see they explain what a rebuy and an addon are in the FAQ, but there is no mention that any of their daily tournaments are rebuy/addon available. Also, don't know what part of the buyin is the rake, but I'm guessing 65=50+15, and 150=125+25.

Oh yea...have to wait until Aug.

do not even bother coming to this poker room on a Friday night, you will never get a seat, at 11:00pm the wait for 1/2 NL was about 2 to 3 hours

i will only go during the day now

although i did win over $300.00 playing craps for about 20 minutes because i could not play any poker

Is it possible to call ahead to get on the list? I'll probably just show up at 8 or 9 to wait it out.
