$5-5 blinds $200 cap bet, no max on the buyin (some buyin in for $2000) $200 is the minimum buyin which i do, goes like 1-2 times a week at cadillac, along with the $500 minimum buyin game on wednesdays which feels too big for me. it went 3-4 times during the rally, which enabled me to win about $3000

Bumpage. Any update on the SD poker scene?

Is there any NL or the $1K Max spread limit going on at all?

I called today, Sunday afternoon. The guy said poker is 4 max, $3-$50 spread limit, and they have 2 tables going. He said they would spread a bigger game if there was demand

Do they have hotel, restaurants open(for out off State people)? Would make a drive this weekend from Denver. I would do some offloading with my Rubicon and play some 4 handed poker.

ive also spoken to the manager, who sometimes read my blog. $3 max rake, the house is putting up a $1000 BBJ. (no player funds). most of the players were out of towners instead of regulars. but they wont be near as busy as we are in TX since we play 7 handed instead of 4 here.

No more Texas talk. Go to the dedicated thread in Home Poker for that.

since so many rooms have now reopened in florida and elsewhere that are 6 handed, (and in the case of the sarasota dog track, even 8 handed) and hotel prices start to skyrocket in deadwood in June, July and August, i doubt deadwood will have as many travel there as in the beginning of May

Went to Cadillac Jacks on Wednesday. It was 2-3 tables for the six hours I was there. None of the regular locals were there and was mostly just tourists or live pros from out of town. Rake is capped at $3 and no drop for the $1k bad beat jackpot they have instituted for this 4handed venture. Games seemed to be either spectacular or pretty meh (for live poker) which is quite easy to do when 25-50% of the table can leave in no time.

Anybody knows when they will switch to 6 handed tables? At least of 5 of us coming next week but we don't really like to play on the same tables especially if it is 4 handed.

Dealers and floor seemed to be acting as they normally would imo. I haven't really noticed waitresses acting different either.

There has been less than 10 cases that I am aware of in western south dakota outside of Pennington County (where Rapid City is located) so don't think this has affected Deadwood that much.

It should be noted that games are pretty small (3-50 spread is main game) so I wouldn't advise travelling very far if main intention is to play poker.
