...there were actually two (2) 1-2 PLO games tonight, both with ten players each,
the second was a must move...the must move being the best action game i have seen all year,
with at least two players insisting on going all-in mostly on pure 'air' every hand. Do they pump pure oxygen into the poker room?

at midnight (37) Live games!

(2) $1 - $2 PLOMAHA
(1) $2 - $5 PLOMAHA
...and the 7.5-15 mixed is still going...

I honestly think the issue was the inserts that were on top of the bed. My guess is that the inserts in my bed were brand new, so they were still hard as rocks, and maybe the inserts for other people were not so brand new. They probably become comfortable after people sleep on them for 6 months or so and wear them in a little.

Someone should ask the Borgata staff to not leave a pea under the mattress.

Judging by the room rate info and the lack of availability for many days, I believe the action over the next couple of weeks is going to be friggin' awesome! I will be down there with maximum liquidity!

So does Borgata open season bring in lots of fish to the cash games, or do you wind up against more pros who are traveling the tournament circuit?

Personally I find it interesting to play with tourney minded players in the 1/2 games. They just seem to play different vs the usual player pool you see playing these stakes. For some reason during the tourneys I find myself bluff catching with one pair a lot. They aren't necessarily bad since you will certainly see tourney players who know how to get max value and pick their spots. I can say that having 2 PLO games running is intriguing but I'd bet those games are juicy if you can handle the swings.

20 2/5nl tables running on Wednesday night at 12:30am!!!!!! I've seen many plays today, by fish, that truly boggled my mind. This place is pure gold during the tourney series.

Does anyone know if they have plans to get auto-shufflers upstairs for the event center for future series events? The structure for Event 1 looked great but played much faster due to the fact that the dealers had to shuffle the deck manually and had to worry about collecting antes starting in level 4 (if I remember correctly). That combined with the fact that half my table found it necessary to hollywood on every decision they faced after level 5 really frustrated me. I busted in level 9 and I felt like my table only averaged about an orbit a level for the last 2-3 levels. Don't mean to sound like I'm hating on the Borgata or the Winter Open in general but really feel like this is an issue that needs to be remedied.

Lots of fish. Plus, the "pros" are tourney guys for the most part, and they are mostly not very good playing deep cash so it's not a bad thing to have them in your game.

We do not plan on adding shuffle machines to the tables outside of the poker room anytime soon.

This is probably never going to happen...the event center uses 'temporary' tables and the shuffle machines are very costly for the large number of tables they use to set it up, and need to be 'installed' in bigger and more 'permanent' tables.

Not to mention a power grid to power them up.

... we need to figure out a way to make them self-sustaining...replacing the black top with solar panles? ...now, if we could figure out a way to replace the dealers with a robot...LOL
