The buffet offer is good. The room offer is the worst piece
Of false advertising and the best bait-n-switch scam going in
Atlantic City Today.

Why do you say that? I've never tried to get a room there but I'm curious what your experience was.

Re: Atlantic City General Discussion
The Borgata does even better. The overflow who want to stay at the Boardwalk probably migrate to Bally's.

am i missing something?

Absolutely that room scam is so horrible, you could easily pre book room for daily rate and if you get those hours just comp the room if not charge regular rate, don't know why it is hard to do that way.

Super NO is a deep stack 1/2 NLHE game with a 100-500 buy in.

1-2 "Super" NL means the buy-in is 100-500, that's it.

You are correct: a game with 250BB max is the same as a 167BB max.

Lol not on that side of town. Borgata is your only shot if you want anything other than 1/2 and a feature 2/5 game being spread.

I think he meant Harrah's Chester, which I think offers 1/3, not 1/2?

The 2-5 games at Ballys should be played in the back tables. Too much action over near walkway, and considering the crackheads outside...

I have been trying to find that out as well. Bravo says 150 last saturday night but I am not sure if that's been updated recently

I'm 0 for 2 with it. Once at Harrah's and once at Bally's.

Both times I asked the host about the promo and was told "maybe depending on availability" before I put in the 4 hours. But then after putting in the 4 hours and giving them my TR card to book, both times I was told "no rooms are currently available through the promo."

Play at Borgata. You have to average ~8/hr sessions to get rooms comped, but at least there's no BS

this post is all about second hand info... not me personally...

i have never heard of anyone getting a free room for 4 hours play successfully

i have had the free room offer mentioned to me by staff at both ballys and harrahs a few times.

i have heard from at least 5 different people that they were told there were no rooms available... all in the middle of the week and early on in the day (early afternoon mostly).

i never tried because it seemed like a bait and switch
