I think the poker room will be the Wild West casino. It's not that big; doubt if anything else is going down there.

It is going on the blocked off area or what was once the table game area of WWW. The drinking atmosphere with the beer pong league, mechanical bull, and cheap shots etc may prove to be a fertile ground for experienced players. Question is will it be loud like showboat on the weekends? I hope not

its already gaining traction, the game has been played several days in the past week

Excellent! I haven't been down since Thanksgiving, so I would love to get a full ring going! Will they be closing the current room by the Ponies for any extended time before opening WWW or plan a seamless transition?

surprising that they closed all 4 horse rooms. hard to believe they couldn't churn out a profit with one race room open where they could consolidate all of their customers.

You are correct the plo has run a few nights a week and we will spread it anytime for you. Feel free to come in we will get the game going.

The noise will not affect poker we are close enough to get players from the area but far enough where the noise will not be a factor. The New part Pit is around the bend. Also the high limit area for the New room will be walled off in its own area for more privacy.

I believe its 17 tier/hour and $1 comp/hour like the old 1/2 game.
The new 1/2 game....not so new anymore is 26 tier/hour and $1.5 comp/hour.

Soft opening will be Feb 27th. That weekend 28th will be the launch

thank you for the free-roll today. I look forward to the room opening. A few folks had problems accessing their rake-back. After swiping my card, the machine told me that I was not born in 1939. Here you had an option of 'retry' or 'cancel.' I made the mistake of entering cancel twice on two different swipes and had my card locked. Don't make the mistake I made. If you swipe your card and you are told you entered incorrectly that you were born in 1939, press 'retry,' not 'cancel.' Thank you Dan for the time and courtesy you and your staff had in helping me resolve this problem. It is your attention to customer service that keeps me coming back to Bally's!

Why is it that I do all right in tournaments, but I am embarrassingly awful playing cash? Have only done NL cash three times ever, all three at the 1-1 at Bally's, including last night and tonight. Tonight I just shriveled up and died over the course of three hours.

Because you're playing against "regulars". There are tons of them at Bally's.

No power in much of the hotel and casino which means no hot or cold water to wash your hands in the men's room, etc.

I think they are taking the "Wild West" theme a bit too far.

Did they ever get the power issue fixed. Not there currently...and glad I'm not to be a part of this mess.

Also, was noticing last time the constant fire alarm "tests" that really became annoying. Hopefully all this is past them and they can get back to business.
