For $20 you can probably just purchase an upgrade at Trop.

Fwiw.

I just saw this, I go there maybe once every other week, including this past weekend for 4pm, usually I go at night. I wasn't charged, or asked. I did see someone appearing to do something like that. They had waitresses during day which they didn't have during primetime.

I will drink/make a wager to not totally freeload. Which is more than I can say for most sleeping over there...

Is it still the case if you are Diamond/make bets of a certain amount?

Something must be loose in my wiring as I have no problems betting $1k between a weekend of games or Sat night UFC fights, but paying $30 to watch each football game would tilt me to no end lol

I haven’t heard anything.

What feeling do you get ? 🙂

I always enjoyed playing in that room even though we were isolated from the other gaming sections of the casino.

Haven’t really been there for a while or Ac in general, but last time I walked past the room look completely abandoned with the chairs blocking off the room. I’m this forum I heard some rumbling about caesars opening a room but haven’t heard or seen anything concrete in that regard

I think the fact that they haven't torn it apart and replaced it with slot machines is a positive sign, although I don't know what's taking them so damn long. Maybe they can't get dealers. It would be nice to have another option on the Boardwalk again.

I’ve seen the same dealers at trop borgata etc. I don’t think that’s it. They probably focused on that sports room and made poker an afterthought

Lots of poker players like to bet on sports so it makes sense to reopen the poker room at WWW but I guess Caesars doesn’t feel that way. Hope they change their mind though, the games were really soft there

Caesars about to embark on a massive renovation of the floor, including the "Nobu Hotel" to open later in 2022 and building a new theater for the Spiegelworld show that launches in Q1 2023. Based on the descriptions of the theater, I think it will take up the space where the Wild Wild West casino is next to the boardwalk. I have no insider knowledge but I'm not expecting poker at WWW for a while. That area seems perfect for storage while everything else gets ripped apart. Maybe they're re-open the old Caesars poker room - considering they never did anything with it in however many years it has been since it closed.

Also, with Caesars now owning Tropicana, which has a poker room and on the boardwalk, I think this adds to them not really rushing to open up the Wild Wild West one.

Four 1/2 NL games currently going at Tropicana. Not bad, not great either but it's only 5:30 pm. It'd be nice if Tropicana eventually became the #2 room in AC.

Dude get out of my head !

It's personally very frustrating that MGM went the way they did vs a stadium style set up. I wouldn't ever leave, but.. so it goes.

Coulda. Shoulda. Woulda.

Unfortunately, that ship has sailed. Management has no interest in it.

If they continue to have the only poker on the boardwalk, when the weather gets nice it should pick up there. As long as people have a reason to be on the boardwalk, there's hope.

There was talk at one time that the Hard Rock might open a room...most Hard Rock casinos have one. I think they would do very well if they did. Any recent rumors that they might?

I've never heard a peep about a poker room. Pretty sad as I was so stoked when I heard they were coming to AC hoping they would duplicate the success they have down in Florida's two casino. Nothing but crickets even after they've been open for a while now.

Unfortunately, that rumor died a long time ago. And it sucks since the rooms in Florida are so good. You would think they would open one up in AC. They definitely had the space to do it, shame it didn't happen.

Where was the old Caesars Poker Room? Last time I was at Caesars we were trying to figure that out. I know I played in that room just don't remember where it was.

It was in the middle of the room in some tiny designated section..I wouldn’t exactly characterize it as a ‘room’ only a section..near the high-limit slots
