I would think ballys and/Harrah’s will come back relatively soon since Borgata is returning but I could be wrong, haven’t been there since February

Golden Nugget used to do a couple tournaments a day and had a pretty nice (though small) poker room. Would love if they reopened, too.

The problem with the Nugget's room is that is it so small, enclosed, and very likely not well ventilated. If/when they reopen it, they'll probably want to put it somewhere else

I've walked by the poker rooms
In AC and none are putting up the glass barriers,
And none of workers know anything. So it
Looks like Borgata caught Bally's, Trop, &GN
flat-footed

You snooze you lose I guess. At least borgata opening up a decent amount of tables, I don’t think the wait will be hooooorrrrible unless you’re there Saturday night or something

I wonder if we'll be able to call in to put our name on the wait list. That would make it a lot better.

To my knowledge pre covid that was not a thing at borgata. Now whether or not they might add that feature in remains to be seen

It wasn't, pre covid, but they also didn't have any kind of text messaging system for when the seat was ready, either. It will be easier if they allow it, especially if I'm staying off property, but not a big deal, either way

you could call in the back room games but not the main room

True. That's fair, but the longest waitlists will be for 1/2

Something tells me that we won't be seeing 1/2 @ Borgata anymore. I think it's going to be 1/3 like MGM.

So it will run deeper compared to 1/2?

Trop poker supervisors were let go last week. Dealers haven’t been told their fate but it doesn’t look good. All of this is according to what some dealers have said.

Definitely not the best sign, but perhaps they plan to bring over their own floor people from Harrah's and WWW. We'll have to wait and see.

We shall see in 8 hours or so, but, I would be surprised if they made the switch. So many OMC's and OWC's frequent the room and I don't think they'd be happy with the change. I would love it, personally, but I think they'll stick to 1/2

I like the barriers
They make it more difficult
For someone seated next
To you, to steal your chips,
Or to stick their elbow in
Your gut. I was able to verify
The 1-3 gives more comps/hour
Than 1-2, but could not confirm
What the new rate is...I was unable
To tell if the player in the first seat
Held cards, but it is a small price
To pay for the peace of mind...

Yahh... comps are great if you fall asleep waiting for aces. Meanwhile they grind $15-20 more an hour.

We really need other rooms to reopen, these waits for a seat and wait lists are long. Wake up, Harrah's and Wild Wild West

Spent 5 minutes in Borgata last night. Enough time to see the line to get my name on an already long wait list, turn around and walk out. Found out after leaving that Rivers in Philly opened up last night. I drove from that area. D’oh!

I am really surprised at least 1 of the CET properties hasn't mentioned anything about reopening their rooms. Gotta wonder if its even in the plans moving forward
