Hey Guys,

This was last night in a live environment at my local playing in a freeroll - prize pool $300.
We had just hit the final table and i had come into it 2nd or 3rd chip leader. This hand happened roughly 4 or 5 hands in.

The Villian in the story is a pretty tight and aggresive player, can be known to make a move.

Blinds are 10k/20k

4 Folds
Villian (240k) Callls
Hero (230K) button - Raises to 40k with A10
SB Folds
BB Folds
Villian Calls

Flop (70k) A K 2

Villian checks
Hero Bets 30k
Villian Calls (Its worth noting at this point the villian placed out 55k and was happy to call the 55k, only to be told it was only 30k)

Turn (130k) 10
Villian Bets 60k

What should the hero do here?

Spoiler:
I shoved over the top of him. He snapped called. He turns over QJ
I had considered this to be a possibility however I figured at very worst I still had the nut flush to fall back on if this were the case.
The river was a blank and I was eliminated

Really simple jam pre and pretty easy shove OTT. If we shove pre and he folds we increase our stack by 25% without going to show down, and if our jam gets called pre we can still win.

results orientated here, easy jam over with two pair and the nut flush draw

Would you say providing the outcome to this hand has changed anyones potential analysis?

With that being said, was the Jam on the turn a bad move or should I have given him more credit and assumed he had the Q J and flat called to see the river card?

Would it be fair to say the Jam on the turn could be considered a good or bad move depending on the outcome of the hand? (obviously we don't want to be results based players) But given my holdings in the hand, even if i was behind i still had lots of cards i could catch to take the lead.

Furthermore, I have jammed pre in similar spots to steal the blinds before, however it seems like an unesicarly large risk to take given how short everyone on the table is compartivaly to the blinds?

It is a +ev spot to shove pre. Shove this all day long ands save yourself having to write all Of the above!

Shove pre. You have the stack to bully the vast majority of those at the FT who won't want to risk their entire stacks with mediocre hands
