Against a complete random u have to call. His range will be from complete air to the nuts.

Check calling the river is probably the best option this early in the tournament.

pretty gross spot since randoms almost never crai river with air. draws missed (65 98) but they just dont bluff that often. they also usually dont value shove kq or something here so i think we aren't ahead often, but don't blame a call at all

we are ip and can't check/call but even if we were oop betting for value is absolutely mandatory and checking would be a huge mistake

Ignore my last post its complete rubbish, I misread the positions at the table. My bad.

OMG-is checking behind a huge mistake in these situations. I'm probably checking about 50% depending on opponent and folding to a shove close to 80%?

you have two pair, it's a CLEAR value bet, you will get called by worse SO often!! you are missing a lot of value

Yeah thats obvious. Soon as wrote it i was like 'I'm talking more rubbish than i was before'. I tried to delete it and got logged off.

I'm trying to save face here but failing miserably!

My actual considered response to the original post would be - 'WTF is that raise about' tank for 5 seconds and fold like 90%+ of the time.
