Yesterday i played a live hand that keeps spinning through my head.
Live tournament, 20 persons, 7 handed, blinds 150/300/25.
UTG: 14.000
MP1: 15.000
HJ: 16.000
CO: 18.000
BTN: 12.000
SB: 15.500
BB (Hero), holding 4c3c: 16.500
MP1 is a loose and bad player, opening en calling all kinds of hands, betting and cbetting with low amounts postflop when he doesnt really have something.
MP1 opens to 600, everybody folds to Hero, pot is 1225.
Hero calls, pot 1525
Flop 2h3d9c
MP1 bets 600, Hero calls. Pot 2725
Turn 5c
MP1 bets 600, Hero calls. Pot 3925.
River Ks
MP1 checks, Hero checks. Pot 3925
The think is, because of his hesitation in the betting and the low sizing, that i put him on just two high cards most of the time and think he'll fold to a raise. Still, is it worth raising somewhere in the hand, or is the check-calling line fine? I feel like a raise will only build a big pot vs hands i'm slightly behind against and will fold all highcard hands.
Thanks.
