cringe when the inevitable 8h comes on the turn

Pre is fine with the limper.

Deffo raise this flop, we can sometimes call on dryer boards but with so many action killers/ cards that beat us on turn/ rivers. Something like 650 sets up a turn shove.

We are pot committed and in my experience these small donk leads tend to be weak. So I am going all in.

I'm not sure why you would even hesitate with this hand. We're near the top of our range and villain could easily bet a draw or weaker pair like this. If we were sitting here with J9cc or something then maybe we could consider something else, but there's no other way to play QQ in this spot imo.

I prefer raising slightly smaller on the flop. 1200ish is probably better. I'm still trying to get his stack on the turn. Even though he has a few hh combos they're a minority of his range, and he almost surely has more single heart combos that turned a flush draw to go with his pair or straight draw. We're still way ahead of his range, and the majority of his range is 9x/7x combos that potentially also have flush draws or straight draws. He can't fold any of those on the turn but could fold them on a lot of rivers. We need to be trying to get stacks in here.
