i was 2nd of 4 in a $2.50 180 man turbo i had around 5m and blinds were up within the minute, so i felt i couldnt wait around and icm sucks in shortstack mode imo.

hero: 48,000 ish (around 5m)
big stack:142,000 ish
villain: 46,000 ish (around 5m)
villain: 38,000 ish (around 3.3 m)

shortest stack shoved all in, i'm in sb with other 5m guy in bb and after thinking shoved over cos i have 16k behind. icm is so overrated in turbo shortstacks. i hate how pokerstars always deals you hands when icm complications always occur. if there was no icm complications i'd get j2os or some crap.

in my old days i probably would have folded but not sure. been away from poker for a few months and i've forgotten a few things to do with what hands to shove with what m to shove. so if anyone could post hands to OPEN shove on what stacks that would be great.

Honestly there's not even really much ICM here and ATo is so ****ing far ahead that this is such a snap.

Yeah stack sizes are pretty important, here it's pretty insignificant, relatively speaking to other spots, since shover is short, you cover, etc. That being said ICM is still relevant since accumulating all the remaining chips does not accumulate all the remaining prize pool, i.e. we are not playing cEV. So we should be folding a lot of hands that are slightly ahead/+cEV, such as a4o if we think btn is shoving 40% of hands (in which case we have 47% equity meaning it'll be slightly +cEV because of the dead money/pot odds .
But yeah ATo crushes him and the stack sizes mean not much icm tax so get it in and be happy
