No brainer call? - 180 Turbo No brainer call? - 180 Turbo

Yo guys, I browse here all the time but decided to start posting.

Heres a hand I had in a 180 tubro on PS which I'm trying to make my bread and butter...

This is obviously a no brainer call with any 2 due to pots odds but looking at it, can we really afford to lose? We have a decent playable stack with a decent amount of equity, easily enough to win the tournament. If we lose it puts us in a ****ty position.

Whats yours minimum calling range here and why?

you are getting 6k to call to win 17k pot right? Then you have 2.8 to 1 or at least 28%. Get pokerstove and type in the villain's shoving range and compare your equity vs his range. If you're at least 28% favourite, call

Even the sickest 180 grinder on Stars would still be a massive dog to the field, probably not more than 15% tops to win outright; you're so far away from actually winning at this stage that your best bet is to just keep taking opportunities like this to win chips.

Call super wide, maybe not any two but damn near!

Also realize that losing your chips doesn't affect your future opportunities at this table too much. The guys you shove into all have small stacks and it's not like you really gain any fold equity over a 2x from the bigger stacks barring a steal from paraguai

TeamTrousers said it all, you´re very far from winning the tournament, at this point you only need to think is in chip accumulation, your getting near to 3:1 in HU, so call is a +cEV
