18man turbo, what tool do you use for these icmizer is best?
if he calls me wide it's bad with the shorty right... can I defend getting odds?

It's hard to say why he is min-raising when he should just shove.

The standard answer here is that people do this with monsters to get action but who knows, maybe he is a level ahead of that and is trying to get the blinds and antes cheaply because we all think he "must" have a monster and he will fold if we jam. Really you need to have seen him play to get an idea of how he thinks.

On argument in favour of jamming is that even if we are called and lose, we are still 4th not 5th and have just paid the big blind - with the 5th man likely to be forced to call when he hits the BB. If we win we have a chip lead and can keep pressuring people to fold and have a great chance of 1st. An ICM tool can't completely encapsulate that.

I don't much like flatting. Even if you have equity against his range (you have three outs against most very strong hands), you don't know what that equity is. Are the Aces your outs (e.g. against KK) or are the Tens your outs (e.g. against AK)?

Incidentally, are there no antes in this?

Is it correct there are no antes?
really depends on what range we give villain. So both fold/shove could be ok here.

Stats suggest it's a fish, so that makes his range pre very unpredictable. He shouldn't actually have a minr fold range here, but what villain thinks is a minr/call or fold is a wild guess. He could easilly be trapping monsters or "trying to steal because I've got something-something.

Sure you can put in some ranges in ICMizer, dunno if its "best".

I would say:
- if villain understands ICM and is capable of folding -> shove
- if villain could easilly call w crap here -> fold

There are no antes. The blinds are big enough.

Right. Will sngwiz do anything different here? If I were to get one or the other for these kindof bubble spots.

SNGwiz assigns standard ranges, which are kinda useless. So only if you are able to assign somewhat "correct" ranges you can some info there. Don't know if SNGwiz can exclude top of range (like AA/KK) from a range.

ICMizer has got the feature to assign NASH ranges. Off course not "correct" or accurate too, but that gives somewhat of an idea from where to start. Either way it's pretty much up to us how we construct ranges.
