What do you do with AQo / AQs / 99 with a stack of 20-30bb preante when u openraise and a reg / random jams on you?

Depends what their stack size is, who the reg is and what positions. Generally 20-30bb pre ante is pretty big and if those are effective stacks it can be a pretty clear fold bar btn/bvb situations. Getting in AK always but yeah can definitely find a fold easily a lot of the time with 99 and under and AQ(s included). Especially if say I raise utg with 2000 at 50/100 and a reg jams utg+1 I am folding AQ and 99 all day long. If I raise BTN with same stack and a reg jams BB I am calling 99 and AQ all day long.. With 30BB it's a bit different but I don't expect a raise to get jammed on that often for that much by any good regs

what about your 2500 game sample makes you think youre good at 180s?

Not sure if you're serious or just hating, but I specifically said that it's not a boast or anything, nor do I claim to be a great player/god/etc etc. Of course he is intelligent, doesn't mean I didn't coach/help him succeed?? That doesn't really make sense lol I don't claim to be one of the better regs or anything like that, you can judge for yourself from what I say in the thread I guess?

I don't expect to have much if any respect from the best regs, no reason to respect my sample and I understand that completely.
I've also done sessions/reviews with a couple of good players and my game is pretty on track from the reviews (brad, etc)
The answer to your other question, not really, I've done ok with a few staking ventures and some NZ equivelant of eBay but that's about it. Overall not very close to poker.

Said in the thread already, a combination of reasons. Good timing (semester mid break, on holiday out of town with camzace and co. and ending my video series is a good time to do a little giving back to the community - as said indirectly/directly I attribute the majority of my fortune (by no means at all a brag, I'm not rich or even close but I'm pretty happy as a young student) to 2p2. Also been getting a tiny bit of interest for coaching which is nice too, but not a main reason. In general I didn't really expect most regs to be "thrilled" about me making this thread, even if they feel my information isn't top quality or whatever.

To be clear I'm not saying I'm bad or something, but I also wanted to make it clear that I'm not making any claims of being amazing etc either. (again not sure if parkert actually meant to imply that but just to be clear for anyone else too)

can i have the 5 mins back i just wasted reading this thread?
09-05-2011 , 08:01 PM
Another MTTsng Well.
We need like 5 more to kill the games, let's go WR, parkert etc.
09-05-2011 , 08:04 PM
lol I said it's not a thread for regs etc anyway, those who are learning/improving etc can hopefully find some value out of it, it's not really my fault if someone like normajean reads this and is disappointed that they didn't learn anything.

I said I expected some regs to be a bit annoyed at free information being given out etc/some hate but this thread isn't gonna be around for very long anyway and it's not like all of you didn't get any free help to get to where you are. Not much to say on this matter, I have no reason to feel guilty or whatever about this.
09-05-2011 , 08:06 PM
im not even a 180 reg. I just lose at 35s why would i care if more fish get better?
09-05-2011 , 08:09 PM
Some free information is fine. I'm just saying there is already another MTTsng sicko answering question, don't get why we need another one making a well.

Hey Barone, you'll be able to figure out this answer on your own if you ever make it to the HU portion.

What's a HU? You mean HUD right?
09-05-2011 , 08:27 PM
Lol who are some of these guys? n0bigdeal??
I might in the near future but I don't even have a stable at the moment and I'm currently not looking for horses. For disclosure, yes I am coaching but I have students in line etc already and it's not like I need to make a thread like this to get people =/
