I make it a tiny bit less pre personally but whatever. As played I'd prob just bet like 688-788 and shut down.

I agree. I probably don't cbet any boards worse than this. But this board is too good not to cbet imo. Cbetting any more than about 700 is too much I think.

Ok, so we're bet/calling against one villain here, and bet/folding if both get involved, or..?
03-01-2012 , 05:02 PM
No, if both get involved u call.
Pot odds will be too good for you to not see the turn, when your hand can improve in so many ways, even if you r behind right now (and it is safe to presume that u r)
But, that's just imo

You mean call if I bet, say, 675 OTF, BTN shoves, and BB shoves?
03-01-2012 , 06:05 PM
Not if they both shove, than u just get out of the way, but If u bet 675 and u get raised to lets say 1300 by BTN and BB calls, than u call too. Because than pot will be 4 850 , and u need only 625 more to see the turn.

Its a mistake to fold versus nearly anyone. Vs pair or fd+ we are about 27% and need about 25%.
03-01-2012 , 07:47 PM
I go 425 pre Bet 655-688 or something and call BTN, prob the other guy too
03-01-2012 , 08:07 PM
why so small pre peeps? i could see 600 or shipping. is it because its ak and not balanced? surely you want some fold equity pre with weaker hands here?
03-01-2012 , 08:30 PM
if we raise it to 650,thats 4 bbs gone, (if we get 3bet brilliant well ship it obv) but if we cbet the flop to say 800 (bcos of bigger pre raise) thats another 5bb.

so on the flop and pre weve put 9bbs of our 21 remaining with ace high. probs better off keeping it less pre,and if we hit then value town to get our stack in ott or otr.

and raising 650,i dont think ul get many callers either. i only 4x it when at 10/20 . 15/30 stage
03-01-2012 , 09:40 PM
misread hh, shove too much but still stand by 600
03-02-2012 , 02:37 AM
I think 600 is too 1 dimensional; we're looking to take it down pre -- not sure why?

Then when we hit an ace or a king on the board people are going to run for the hills, we want a few raggy aces in the pot imo and as OMG said, want to be 3 bet.
