Hi guys!

UTG+1's move doesnt scares me (he's done this before with broadway type hands) and I'm villing to shove him, but BB is such a station (50/15 #20 hands though, hasnt 3bet or 4bet at all, this fact convinced me to fold).

Whts my line here with the info I have, I lean towards folding as I did. What you guys think?

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $200(BB) Replayer
SB ($4,680)
BB ($2,160)
]Hero ($5,790)
UTG+1 ($1,955)
UTG+2 ($2,142)
CO ($1,029)
BTN ($810)

Dealt to Hero 9 9

Hero raises to $500, UTG+1 raises to $1,200, fold, fold, fold, fold, BB raises to $2,160 (AI), fold, UTG+1 calls $755 (AI)

I'm folding here too. Given the stack sizes behind you, I'm way more inclined to shove here and not raise. Cause everybody exc from SB does have <10bb stack and I don't like raising under 10bb anymore, unless I have like QQ+ to induce, and I'm not inducing from UTG w/99 for sure. Just shove it, look at eff. stack sizes more. Now, I fold, stick it in from JJ I believe.

open raise vs shove is interesting... i'd usually shove in spots like these but raising has its merits

Lets discount shoving 28bb UTG.

Raise is fine + considering we know the r/r is 100% going to call were getting 3-1 to call.

So call.

I found it interesting, too. I'd raise it from HJ for sure to induce etc etc, but UTG ~<10bb let's say it seems better to shove, cause there is all the table behind us and having a 3 way pot is not that I'm looking for. I don't know how people reacts in the higher limits, but I'm playing the same games as the OP, so I know there is millions of fish here and if you mr, you can get 3 or 4 callers and it seems to be standart in these stakes. So I'm not inducing UTG anymore, cause this seems to be lower EV play than shove, cause they still call w/ the raggish hands, so there is no need to induce. I'm way more inclined to start inducing in late position in these stakes. Here people are way more happy to call your raise even 10bb deep and not reshove for sure. From what I can find on 2+2 higher level mttsng's post it seems to be reverse from there QQ+ is ok to induce wherever you sit for sure, but it's such a top of our range that it makes like no sense ;/ Just my thoughts about these limits

I also believe its more EV to open shove or even sometimes L/Shove at those 0,50 stakes. When you raise 3x or 4x from UTG/EP you get a mostly multiple callers in those stakes. On some boards it sucks to continue when you are 3+ players on the flop.
I have won bigger pots by just L/ shoving QQ+ and it only sucks when everybody limps behind and nobody raises. Because when somebody raises to 2x [ like the players do at this stakes ;-) ] and you shove you often get called by junkyhands that you crush.

Same goes for MP/LP or when im in the blinds. when i have QQ+, i often just shove instead of 3 betting [ when we are still deep in the start of the game ]. I get a lot of calls from players with low pairs and just Ax and often even from QJ etc.

Tendencies are so different at the 0,50 90T than at the higher stakes. And i do believe by adjusting in this way i will have more EV.
Offcourse when we get to higher buy inns we need to adjust again knowing this line at the micro isnt going to be +EV anymore.
