When I click on Cashier on the poker client, and then click the withdraw option I get a screen that says:

"You cannot withdraw with an active casino bonus. Your bonus balance is $212 with a remaining playthrough of $8,486. The bonus will clear once your playthrough or bonus balance reaches $0."

What the hell does this mean? I know I have money in the casino from bonuses, but I am trying to withdraw my poker earnings.

I think it means you need to lose it all first, and then you can withdraw your final balance of $0.

you received a casino bonus as a part of your VIP bonuses. If you want to opt out of it just e-mail support and they'll remove the bonus for you so you can withdraw, otherwise you can play through the bonus until either the $212 bonus is busted of you've met the playthrough requirement, at which point any winnings above and beyond the initial $212 are yours. You are NOT required to wager anything beyond the bonus, so once it's busted or cleared, you will be able to withdraw.

If you would prefer to just opt out of it, just e-mail support and CC me and I'll make sure they remove the bonus ASAP.

so does this mean I have to wager $8,486 to clear the playthrough bonus? so essentially i need to put the $212 at risk 7 times in order to receive it? writing this on my phone, sorry i this isnt making much sense, i just want to be sure i understand this correctly

I think you're dealing with a 40x pseudo playthrough here, and even after that, you won't be keeping the original $212.

Sadly this is correct.

We originally planned this bonus with no play through at all but our network told us that was outside of the the scope of what we were allowed to do.

After long negotiations the only way we could keep the bonus is if it was saddled with these huge play through requirements.

This is why we have since removed this bonus and are running Lock Lotto instead.
