Stupid software glitch made me fold KK Stupid software glitch made me fold KK

01-31-2013 , 07:46 AM
I'm near the Final Table bubble in a $5,000 $55+$5 Turbo I got the 2nd table open to watch the opponents there and some guys got busted to make it FT, the glitch there is if you have the other table open instead of sitting you there it just becomes some frozen screen instead so I close my current old table plus that second table and have to manually reopen it through Lobby<My Tournaments then click seat to my $55 tournament, it opens up my tournament like normal and notice I have KK first hand of the Final Table...sweet right? It's on me to act but there's no buttons check, raise, nothing my friend on skype goe's "oh no" did you she was telling me about the glitch yes I already know and manually re-opened the table it obviously folds me here's a snapshot of the HH:

Luckily I got 2nd place and it didn't really affect me probably because I was even in chips then lost 99<JJ but I still think Lock would owe me the buy in $60 total because even though I was aware of that stupid glitch that should not be a glitch in the first place... I was able to close them down, manually re-open them, and see that I have KK. I doubt it was my computer because I have a pretty kick-ass pc custom built the processor is $1,000 alone let alone my two graphics cards $500 a piece lol so a glitch on my end is hardly possible. Anyways it's not too big a deal but the thought of it alone and the principle - what if this was the 70k gtd final table, and that hand could have doubled me up? Every hand counts this is poker.

Basically would like to think if it's fair I get my $60 buy in back because this glitch could have won me a huge hand giving a different outcome of the tournament. It's not a huge deal just think Lock should fix this issue as our money is on the line.

All in all don't take this thread too seriously it's not that huge of a deal, but maybe to some it may be a big deal, I'm not crying, or crying for help lol just mainly making aware the situation if you are bubble the final table just close the 2nd table if you are watching it in case this glitch happens to you. KK omg i had KK!!! lol

Exactly, this is online poker. Connection issues and glitches happen, take it and move on. You finished the tournament, no way you should get your buyin back. Glitch wouldn't be have been an issue had you won, right?

Be happy because you 1) were playing focused (folded a good hand due to a software bug and not an autopilot misclick typical of me ), 2) got sweated by a female. These things are more valuable than $60. And of course glitches happen, they are just another part of the game... as well as quality of sites of your choice in general .

The software needs an upgrade. I see people complaining about lag everywhere.

I'm still getting the run-around from support on a heads up game that never opened until the opp had blinded me out.

You supply all the info that they want and they come back and tell you that they are looking into it. Then they act like you never sent them the info you asked for and ask for it again. Then they tell you that they are investigating it. And around and around we go.

I don't think so. See http://gyazo.com/ or Google it.

Where have you been for a year, Hasupt? No posts until these 11 in a few hours.

[For search purposes, 0pxrunnin is LivLiv1 on Lock.]

http://gyazo.com/ is a legit image upload site like imageshack or imgur so I wouldn't be too worried about that

Hey Mike, I read 2+2 for years (long before i had this account) but never felt the need to use my account/post
I had a problem with livliv1 that I report to Lock security team and also wanted to report it here. The question about his alleged DoS attacks is how he get's the player IP, so every link /skype request from that person I assume is harmful and avoid it.
Good to know nothing is wrong with the gyazo link

**SKYPE SCAM ALERT**

"opxrunnin" added me on Skype, pretending to be Liv Boeree the Stars live pro, and claiming he obtained my skype jokingly from Durr. I have never contacted opxrunnin to my knowledge, nor Liv B or Durr. I know that he obtained my Skype either from another 2p2er who I contacted, or directly with me on 2p2 via PM, both of which are possible.

He is pretending to be the Stars pro Liv Boeree whilst having his account perhaps listing all of his personal details, including his Cake screen-name, AND the 2p2 account linked to this thread.

I have blocked him on Skype now. Quite worried however. What other protections should I take?

Lock could hopefully use these personal details to try and locate his account.
