Should us players be worried?

Has Lock stopped paying 2+2?

I would guess either that or 2+2 doesn't want to continue to support a site that doesn't have the cash to pay their players in a reasonable amount of time.

I spoke to our CEO and I understand our payments are up to date, she enquired into why the banners are down but I havent hear back yet.

Banners are back up now lol. Must of been a glitch on the site.

threads like this are stupid......maybe Lock decides to stop advertising on here - that doesn't mean they're having financial problems....sometimes the advertising costs aren't worth the return.....secondly no one at Lock will ever say if they're having money issues - what will happen is one day the site will be gone and Shane will dissapear.....just do your thing with that in mind and carry on.

Yea you're right. There is no way that their ads being removed from here would have anything to do with their financial issues.

Neither would the fact that they are taking up to 6 months to pay US players when other sites can do it in 2 weeks.

Nor would the fact that they are taking months to pay non-US players when other sites do it overnight.

The player pool segregation and "fair play" likely has nothing to do with financial issues either.

I still can't figure out why people would be selling their Lock funds for $0.50 on the dollar.

I am certain that the situation where another skin hasn't been paid by Revolution(which keep in mind has nothing to do with Lock according to Shane) has no correlation with Lock's financial status.

All of this is just a big misunderstanding.

I think the question now is, why in hell did it go back up?

I am sort of curious how does lock pay 2+2. Is it by check? Does 2+2 have to wait 3 months to be payed or is paying an advertiser more important then paying the players?

An affiliate marketing deal with a poker site is not related to playing on the site as a player.

UIGEA doesn't apply to affiliate deals because the revenue is derived from marketing, not cashouts to players.

After 7 years of the introduction of UIGEA, It's amazing how people don't understand the laws in the USA or the lack of the laws in the USA.

shane how do you expect to ever get another marketing job again (when lock goes under) if your lies are all over the 2+2 forums.

I wasn't talking about the legality of being an affiliate or anything. Just comical how if lock needed to pay an affiliate like 2+2 in a day or 2 they could but if a player wants his money he has to wait months. How come people in inter are getting paid in a week?
