ello' 2p2! Question for 100nl players: How soft are the 6max 100nl tables on Merge? BBJ and non BBJ? I have been grinding 10nl for a while and put my whole roll on 100nl BBJ tables last night, and was amazed at how soft they were. I was at one table with 3 fish and one other reg (BBJ table). Do you guys avoid BBJ tables because of the extra rake, or do you just bumhunt and pay little attention to BBJ? How much of a factor is it?

I guess I just assumed 100nl >> 10nl in terms of skill, but in my limited experience that doesn't seem to be the case. The regs are probably significantly better on average, but the fish seem to be swimming in schools. Curious to hear opinions about this. Thanks!

It doesn't matter how soft you think it is, or how soft it actually is. If you're not properly rolled for any stake, don't play it.

And that's the worst poll options ever.

Very good BRM advice Airborne, this thread is probably useless since anyone who replies will be trolling or will give BRM advice. You obviously haven't seen many polls on 2+2 if you think this is the worst.

I'm a 6max 100nl reg on Merge. I think in terms of difficulty it goes 100nl>>50nl>>>>>>>>>>>>25nl. 100nl is very reg infested for the most part and the regs there are just a bit better than 50nl on average. Mainly the regs play postflop much better/trickier. Also a lot of the tables are bad beat jackpot so that's basically extra rake. When the BBJ is big it attracts more fish though. I'd only play 100nl if you're an experienced grinder or a recreational player looking to gamb0l. No need to put your whole BR on the table though because you WILL lose it eventually, no matter how soft the tables are or how good you are. Either deposit more or just move up normally. Hope that helps.

OP made it clear he doesn't want BRM advice.

He just wants to be told he's a poker god and taking shots will always pay off because of his absurdly small sample size of how "soft" the competition is above his normal stake.

Matt Thanks a bunch, very appreciated. Reason I ask is because I will be making a very good salary soon and want to deposit 2k to grind online. Trying do decide if I want to split it between Bovada and Merge or put it all on one site. I think multi-siting is the way to go.

Airborne it looks like you are pretty clearly a small loser on PTR. I am going to go out on a limb and say that you are probably not a model of BRM either. Do yourself a favor and put half as much effort into improving your game as you do into trolling. You are welcome.
