Thats correct. If i had 2k in my account and tried to withdraw it all it wouldn't allow me because it would try to take the fee from my account instead of the withdrawal.

To be clear, this is how it works much of the time, but not always.

There is a common scenario where the first payment processor is backlogged or cannot complete the payment for whatever reason. Lock declines this transaction so they can put it through another processor, where it gets handled. When they submit to the 2nd processor, they put the fee back in your account automatically.

Others have apparently had the first request go through, which means you have to email support to request the reimbursement.

Either way, you wind up with the fee refunded. It just isn't always automatic (but seems to be most of the time, these days).

Sorry if this has been answered already, but does the 1 free withdrawal a month use the cash out requested date, or the date the cash out is received, in order to determine whether or not the 1 free withdrawal has been used? In other words, I requested a withdrawal in Sept., it came in October, can I still request a free one in Oct?

I e-mailed support and he told me the free one is based on the date of the request, not approval. Can someone confirm which is true.

Pretty sure it's approval or at least it used to be. Hopefully they switched it to request date.

All Western Union withdrawals incur a fee of 10%, but for the first withdrawal of the month we refund these fees once the withdrawal has been processed and received.

In answer to your questions, it is from the requested date of the withdrawal and if you cancelled the withdrawal at this stage you would not be charged a fee.

Hi

I had a couple questions. First off my understand is that you get 1 free Western Union cashout per month. Is this from the requested date or from the approval date? Also just yesterday I requested a WU withdraw and if I were to cancel it would I get charged a fee? Thanks so much.

Its definitely still the approved date NOT the requested date.

1.got my mtcn # today with name and country of the sender but not the city. the WU location i spoke to said i needed the city too. is this common? and how can get that info?

2. Also I made a cashout request of 500, got 50 taken from it right away , then got automatically sent back $5. what is this $5 for. and do i just email support asking for my cashout fee refund?

MTCN was in my email spam folder so check there if u didtn see yours.

i wasnt given the senders city info and 2 WU locations i went to wouldnt process without it. so i just kept calling other locations til i found one that would.


can anyone answer this question though...

the 5 dollars was left over from your cashout request, the fee you will have to email support apparently.

disgusting how i requested and got approved before you and i havent gotten squat, talked to live chat, emailed support, and im not getting anywhere with them, so disgusting

I agree that it is gross to see people that cashed out after you getting there money. I requested on 9/11 and haven't gotten any info since then. I emailed them I they just tell me to keep waiting. So done with this site and spreading the word.

Just started playing on Lock - sorry in advance for the basic question:

So on the withdrawal page, it just says to enter the amount. The maximum amount to cashout via WU is $2000, correct? So if I put $2000 in there, is WU the default method, or on the next page will I be asked if I want WU, check, etc?

yea thats how it works. and make sure you dont put in more than you can cashout cuz it gets automatically moved to casino and then you have a limit on what you can transfer back to poker per day and week

i requested WU for $205. got hit with the 10% fee, but then after they deducted the fee, i went to page 2 and i got hit with another 10%. is that normal?

they also left me 2.05 in my casino balance (10% from the first $20.50 fee)

I emailed customer service last night and received a response within 10 minutes, customer service seems to be responsive, and they have been helpful in the past as well. This time around I'm on my 14th business day and my cash out has not even been approved.

support told me earlier that an email was sent out with the wu details the day it was processed on the 28th but i never recieved anything, junk folder was empty as well etc. and no details were in the cashier history, took 30 emails for support to finally forward my issue to the cashier department and the cashier dep emailed me back and finally gave me the wu details, i went to wu and everything went smooth, took about 5 minutes to fill out the form and get the cash, if support communicated better and tried to help me the first time i emailed them it would of been done last week... good day
