I would imagine that if one of the sites opens back up, they all will, no?
10-12-2011 , 10:06 PM
My buddy just signed up for lock.

If this is true I kinda have a problem with it. Merge supposedly closed so they could catch up with a backlog of cashout requests. ONly problem is that seems that some ppl are waiting longer than ever for their money.

It is true.

i thought they closed because support couldnt handle the influx. not because of cashouts.

Yes.....because they have kept player funds "segregated"......right.

10-12-2011 , 11:59 PM

Anyone that does not have LOCK poker as of right now and is a NEW US sign up, please try to sign up and let the poker community know if you had success or not, thanks!
10-13-2011 , 12:34 AM
why would you want to sign up for a site that has players waiting 8 weeks+ for cash outs. dont waste your money
10-13-2011 , 04:19 AM
Successful sign up for me

So Carbonpoker/RPMpoker/BlackChippoker and Lockpoker are US-friendly now BUT with the exception of several states: New York, Kentucky, Washington DC, Maryland, Washington, Missouri and Louisiana.
sounds like anti-DOJ precautions to me....

Are they taking deposits? Will this bring the heat of the DOJ down on this site?
10-13-2011 , 10:20 PM

If it does it does. Just keep the amount you put on there small (like the amount you would loose going to play $1/$2 at a casino on a Friday night) and its basically entertainment. It you get lucky and build it up cash some out.

Lets be honest. Most US players that don't have money online yet are basically recreational players. Yes we may play on it for a while but its going to get bled off eventually right? Just limit your exposure.

edit: if you want to deposit buy money in the marketplace. no deposit hassel and you get a discount. just have to verify your account first. thank me later

Can you deposit and play for real money on lock if you're in the US? They sent an email and said US players can't play for money for a few weeks.

Why don't you post it here, in this thread, and let us decide if we should know the information.
