Hello, I'm trying to figure out a few questions. Massive confusion
Why should I play on Lock Poker? I'm willing to put some money down.
I have questions that prevent me from doing so.
If I win how can I get paid? How much does it cost?
How much does it cost to deposit?
Is me getting paid within the law.
But the costs of deposit withdrawing and speed outweigh any promotional considerations, and no one can understand them anyways.
I'm trying to figure out where to play,

Hello,

Rakeback players can not participate in our VIP Program or receive Cashback rewards but you will still be able to exchange your points for cash. We will inform all players accordingly, we hope this will be very soon.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

All our best,
Andy

Hello,
I would like to know what can I do with my points when I receive rakeback. It seems that the new VIP system does not allow me to exchange them and this was possible until the 31 of May. This is extremely unethical to your rakeback players that still had points. I was waiting to finish my other promos and then exchange all the points to cash, but now I cannot do so.
Can I exchange the points if I opt in the VIP system and at what points/cash rate ?

It would be nice if Rizen could confirm this. VIP Points Exchange has completely disappeared from my Player Admin Menu. Not even sure if there is even a way currently in the software to tell how many total points I have.

So far I'm not impressed with this new VIP thing. No offense but I'm not interested in casino bonuses. If rakeback + points for cash + ronin has become just rakeback with no other real value for rakeback players then I'll have to consider playing elsewhere.

I don't believe there is any verification process on the casino side. As of right now, things are a lot more flexible for us over there.

Thanks

I can't confirm at the moment but I will check.

I understand not being interested in the casino bonuses. If that isn't something that interests you I highly recommend contacting support and opting out of it, you will be given an equivalent reward that I think you will be very happy with.

Sorry for being kind of coy and indirect with some of the responses. It's not usually my style but unfortunately I have to be at the moment.

I'm not sure why its gone, but I think its just temporary with Lock updating all of the VIP info and software today.

I requested a cashout almost 72 hours ago and havent heard anything yet from the Casino. I got the initial email, but still waiting for the transaction to go through. If WU is slowing down already, then that sucks

so now that merge websites are not going to be accepting any new US players does that mean i cannot deposit money even tho i have an exsisting account and rakeback?
06-03-2011 , 07:13 PM
Can anyone confirm that they got $500 from the IPAD2 Promo if you requested the cash?

You CAN deposit. They're just not taking any new sign-ups.

Pretty sure you can still play. Not 100% tho, but it makes sense. If not, then logically I wouldn't be able to deposit either...

so if ive earned 2,200 vip points so far this month and i was a black vip, thats $440 bucks right? or am i misunderstanding this program, anyone have the math on how much volume you would need to opt out of rakeback? and rizen if you choose to opt out of rakeback can you switch back in the future?
06-03-2011 , 09:03 PM
and does your vip status carry over for a month like PS vip program? this is so vague
06-03-2011 , 09:09 PM
It seems like Merge is not allowing players to cashout from what I've read.
Time to go play on bodog.
If they can't legally run a site in the US why pretend and take deposits.
Sounds like a scam.

That's nice to know.

Maybe it's a strategic business move in order to increase their cash flows?

Unfortunately, that strategy may not work in the long run.

In addition, not letting players cash out, may decrease their ability to attract new business?

Maybe Merge isn't thinking that far into the future?

I'm not sure I understand the question. If you've earned 2,200 VIP points you wouldn't be a black vip, you would be a white vip (why do I feel racist typing that?).

however, as with your other question your status does carry through from month to month, honestly we were using Stars as a model when thinking of the system. Obviously the rewards are different, but the monthly milestones and the carry forward from month to month are the same.

So if you did happen to be a black vip and earned 2,200 pts, which is the equivalent of paying $220 in rake (10 pts = $1 rake), you would have received 20% in cash back into your account nightly for $44 in cash back, you also would be able to buy another $40 in cash by redeeming 1000 pts for $20 twice (with 200 pts leftover towards another redemption). You would also have another $44 in casino credits via the casino rewards.

Hopefully that helps clear things up a bit, the page is here:

http://lockpoker.eu/vip/

if anything other than the casino bonuses are confusing please let me know as we definitely want to make the page as easy to read as possible and I'll make sure the feedback gets to the right people to make things clearer if necessary.

Thanks

You are definitely misunderstanding the program. But about 5x.
If you got $200 for every 1k points I would be going crazy for this program. I whole-heartedly approve of 200% rakeback!

At Black VIP you get $20 for every 1k points and another $20 in cashback rebates (if I'M not misunderstanding it...and it's possible I am).

To your second question: Black VIP is about 40% (being 20% twice). So if you are earning 10k points per month it appears you are better without the 35%. But it's still not completely certain. If you still get points as a 35%'er and can use them on tournaments at 6.5% rate then that brings you to 41.5% overall.

And, as you pointed out, we're not sure if it's a carry-over from month-to-month. I'm guessing that you are earning at White and Silver levels on your way up to Black in your first month on the way there. So that's a slight consideration too...that you first 10k points would be less than 40%.

Yes, it's really freaking vague. And we aren't even sure what's going on with the points for the 35%'ers either. Pretty disappointed they had so long to construct this ahead of time. And now almost 3 days after it is released it is still not very well understood. My hunch is that they THOUGHT what they put together was super straight-forward and then very soon-after realized it wasn't and that they needed to figure out the answers to some of the Q's being asked here.
