We've seen this before, and it's a familiar pattern.
It's because the margins in Poker are much less than in Sportsbook and Casino.
Lock wants to trap your funds as long as they can, so that you continue to generate rake.
Lets use this for an example.
You decide to deposit $100 on lock. Their processing and operational costs are probably 8-12%. So that $100 deposit actually costed them $108-$112.
You decide to play 3 $10+1 heads up SNG's. You will all 3 and lets say have a balance of $130.
You decide to cashout your balance of $130. You've actually only generated $3 in rake, but its costed lock about $8-12 in processing fees and operational costs, not to mention if you signed up thru an affiliate, a % of that profit/rake is paid out to them.
See what I'm getting at here? You don't have to be a genius to figure out what they are trying to do. They are trying to lock your funds as long as they can so that they can generate as much rake and profit as possible.
