from lock poker cashout thread

You guys need to speed up your methods. 2 many players are worrying about when they'll get their checks and if they'll get them at all especially high volume players.

What about offering a cashout option via gift card (amazon or visa maybe)? bypassing the scamming/cheating part at least for smaller cashouts? echecks, WU trasnfers, hell anything that u don't need to send in the mail. If i could get my cashouts from lock in about a week I'd be playing on this site as my primary source of income for at least a year probably, but right now I'm looking for a job because I'm not sure if/when ill get my $ and i bet many other players feel the same way.

I was speaking to a guy on cardrunners about Lock and he eventually got his withdrawal after 6 weeks, im EU, im withdrawing via moneybookers and still no money after 7 weeks.

On top of that support have ignored me for the past month. Lol.

Ive given up tbh, they win.

I am going on five weeks waiting and it hasnt even been sent out yet so the 3 weeks thing is not true. Rizen seems to be the only helpful employee tho

yeah mine is going on 5 weeks also with it being authorized for 2 weeks. sounds like the poker side is going much faster than the casino side now.

cant they just completely ignore me ive not had a reply for well over a month, i asked the promo guy on cardrunners guy to ask them, he did and they never replied to him lol.

I sent in your request, you should have been copied on it. Moneybookers have been taking < 1 week so I'm not sure what's happening with yours.

Both us as an individual site via the casino and Merge are looking into additional withdrawal methods. Post Apr 15 it's just not as easy to find processors capable of offering reliable cash out methods. We were working with someone on a cash to card solution but the provider kept pushing back and then was unable to offer the solution altogether (not because of us, but because they just weren't capable of delivering what they promised).

For non-US players there are lots of options, most of which are very fast and reliable. For US players we are working on it, and I'm confident that more options will become available as well as more consistent/reliable cash out times, but honestly it is very difficult to find reliable partners willing to operate within the US, I imagine that will change as more of them find a safe way to operate post Apr 15.

I'm with the crowd. Requested July 21, Authorized Aug 9 and was told by support that it would go out with the next batch. Monday came and went and no status change. I've emailed them about it with no response of course.

Eric, we understand it's more difficult since April 15th, but there are things that can be done on your end to speed things up. Hire more people to go through cashout requests. It shouldn't take 3 weeks for a request to get looked at. If a request is approved within a few days and sent to the processor, it shouldn't take more than 2 weeks total to receive a check. End of story, no more excuses. Oh, and hire more support people too. Lock response time to common emails is horrible...if they ever do respond.

We are doing things to try and speed things up. We've been adding new people pretty much constantly the last few months (both support and security) but it does take a little time to get them trained and up to speed. I do feel like support has improved A LOT over the last month or so, and with the exception of the iPad specific issues if there are people waiting more than 24 hrs for responses from support I'm not aware of it.

Just a quick question? why are my players only cashouts taking 2 weeks tops for multiple cashouts over the last 3 months while everyone on lock says they have been waiting for 5 weeks

My best guess is because many of the players have been requesting the checks on the casino side which used to be far faster than the poker side. Now the poker side is moving faster. The poker side users the Merge cashier, which is what I assume the PO cash outs use. They should take the same time if that's the truth although I don't know any specifics about PO, just making assumptions based on them being a Merge site.

OP doesn't realize what the date is and how many barriers there are to processing "gambling" transactions. Get a clue. It's not like Lock/Merge is sitting on their ass taking their time; it's not easy to move money around at this time, nor will it ever be until it is 100% legal.

I play on both sportsbook and lock poker and I have had success cashing out of sportsbook but I still have not cashed out of lock because I do not want to end my bonus.

Does Lock use the same methods as sportsbook does to deliver checks? My check from sportsbook took 2 weeks to arive then an additional 3 or 4 days for the check to get cleared into my account. Does anyone here have any successful cashouts from lock poker?

My 1st check took about 3 weeks and It cleared. Since then I have been waiting over 5 weeks on a check that still hasnt been sent out. And alot of people have said that their checks have bounced. Life sucks sometimes.

Please clarify 'a lot'? To the best of my knowledge from Lock at least there have been like 3-4, all but one from the poker side, and they were all handled very quickly. This is 3-4 total that I'm aware of post Apr 15.

You can cash out from Lock Poker without having to worry about your bonus, it will remain active. You have the option of cashing out from the poker side, or the casino side. The poker side cashout is the same method that other Merge skins use.

Rizen, can you give us a quick update/expected time frame re: cashouts.

We have a WSOP Circuit event coming up in Chicago beginning on OCt 13 and I"d like to know if there's any chance of getting a cashout by then and, if so, what would be the best way to go.

I originally cashout out on poker side. After waiting 4 weeks with no status change. I contacted lock to do a WU. They had me cancel my check and transfer the money to the casino side. AFTER I canceled and transfered they told me SRY CANT WU IN YOUR AREA. On 8-25 ELLE at support said " request a check and Ill make sure it goes out in the next batch"
3 weeks later my cashout is still sitting as "authorized" I again contact support today. Again ELLE says " ill make sure your check goes out in the next batch" At this point that means absolutely nothing to me. Lock and it's support have 0 credibility anymore IMO.
I asked ELLE a very simple question via email and of course she dodged the question.
Me - " you said on 8-25 my check would go out in the next batch. Are you telling me that you havent sent out a single batch in over 3 weeks?"
ELLE - " your check will be sent out with the next batch"
LOLOLOL nice dodge and way to go around admitting any error on the part of lock.

As of today check is "in progress"
Took over 6 weeks but checks otw.

You should get a cashout well before that, late last week I was told that sometime in the next 7-10 days some things should change that will allow us to get cash out back under 3 weeks again.
