Not what I know of that is why I am confused! I mean revolution bought the cake network right, who also owns lock.
So are they bringing these jackpot casino games to revolution or ? does it just mean the cake skin. shane?

I think Lock Poker merged with Cake when they outgrew Merge and then formed the Revolution network. I'm not sure if there is a difference. I think Cake caters to different market than Revolution. I think there is a Lock Casino.

They still call it the Cake Poker Network because Cake Poker actually owns the majority share of the Network. It's my opinion that Lock owns, at most, 40% of the Network. I believe this information has already been mentioned elsewhere on 2p2 but Shane feel free to come in here and try refute my claims. I expect crickets to chirp as usual.

When Lock moved to the Network they rebranded and called it Revolution. It's like trying to polish a turd, they simply wanted to change things up and make people think positive change was coming.

Hello Ice_W0lf

"It was explained that as part of the deal, Cake and its current marquee brand, Intertops Poker, are believed to be continuing to operate as separate rooms and there are no plans to integrate them."

@ Don

Funny that Shane just posted in that other thread about how you can't trust media and news sites. This obviously pertains to this and amusingly enough, look at the sites it endorses in the top right corner. Lock and Cake can tell the media whatever they want but behind closed doors, they're the ones deciding who has control and who has what % of ownership. The comment "take control of Cake" is equally funny because there aren't any verified sources, just a "very reliable source."

I don't understand what the Intertops Poker comment has to do with anything though. Lock owns its own skin, as does Cake and Intertops respectively and they operate separately. I'm talking about the Network called Revolution though.

@LiarsDice

You're right. What I was trying to say is they're supposed to be separate according to the article.

Perhaps there are other more reputable sources of information to get to the bottom of the ownership.

We'll probably never know.

If Shane didn't say it, other skins did I believe recently, that Cake owns a majority of the network currently.

I believe it was also mentioned that Lock owns part of the network, less than 50%.

Analogous to the age old question of how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop? The world may never know.

Be weary though, many of those sources may come from anonymous internet forums.
