p.s.: if "wives" are not allowed I can understand but she's terribly excited at the idea of dining @ Noma!

then alot of people who have some time limit on when they can go (fwiw stake np if you bring our wife). im going to try and make this happen in june since thats when kotkis and toke are in europe and i want to go with them. will get back to you with more info asap

Umami is pretty good if you want to go for japanese on another day.
+1 For Christiania. Hope you have a good trip.. Feel free to ask questions ;]

umami is a waste of time since you are traveling for the high end cuisine.

You should def. go for Noma and Geranium.

Next should be "Kong Hans", "Era Ora" and AOC. all three are 1 star.

Theres a bistro in the area Vesterbro called Formel b.
It used to be in contention for 2 stars. Though due to recession and such had to change their concept and go for a more bistro like appearence.

Kadeau should fwiw be quite the experience if you are open minded.

btw just fyi, DONT do stripclubs in copenhagen.... complete waste of time.

Meh, went there 2 months ago and the service is really bad, cant recommend, but the other places Macstarr recomends is A/A+

Go to Pizzahuset in Gothersgade at 4am for a great drunken pizza experience. Won't cost a lot, but when intoxicated can't be had better.

Despite being only the #75 restaurant in the world, COI in San Francisco offers a very similar style of cooking without the requisite international trip. Hyperlocal, heavy emphasis on foraged plants/herbs, innovative technique. I work there and our chef is very close with Rene fwiw.

I live here, would definitely be down for a 2p2 COI dinner.
