Villian is an unknown, probably taking a quick shot. What questions should i be asking myself when he raises the turn like this?

would he flat KJo here preflop? how aggressive has he been preflop?

He definitely players lower stakes, and is a slightly losing player. His range is pretty wide here, and definitely includes KJ. This was about my tenth hand at the table, and our first encounter with each other. First hand hes played as well.

seems a pretty trivial fold

don't fold !!

his range could easily include lots of draws like AJ or even worser hands for value

i know you said you played maybe ten hands but without some stats or history its tough to make a soul read...just my opinion, but if i had to id say most of the time your opp would show up with any J combos

ask yourself if BB is a fish.

I agree with muse here, and if against JK u have your re-draw

Would most people agree with me that most low stakes players don't raise the turn with a draw? I think he has KJ here almost all the time.

why? villian is raising a set on the flop even if he's bad...so KJ is really only hand to be worried about and he could certainly be raising with Jx or pair+fd hands ect

shove turn imo.

what. snap shove
09-23-2010 , 09:30 AM
Just get it in quickly. I mean he could have anything really.

I concur with the others. Especially since the heart came on the turn. Get it in.

"why am I playing 10/20" would be my first one this seems like a really basic hand.. you're either going to get coolered or you're way ahead, i don't see how this is any sort of a problem, especially with 50bb stacks.

What hands can he be doing this with and how often will he do it...

"How quickly can I press the all-in button?"

"Is there a risk I'll break my mouse if I click too hard?"
09-28-2010 , 06:47 PM
"is he scared money?"

You might find questions like "What am I going to do with this money today?" or "What drugs should I go out and buy?" to be particularly enlightening.

ask yourself if 3 of a kind still beats 2 pair
